Just wanted to see if it works.
CBD: ...because HuffPo coded their page to prevent cutting and pasting...
There's always a workaround.
You can tell the old schoolers who were taught in typing class to double-space after a sentence.
Several thousand typed pages later, I had to un-learn that.
Seamus Muldoon #160: ...Mis Hum inadvertently prepended part of the AOSHQ address in front of the link URL....
HTML was certainly a lot simpler back then!
Kafiroon was just enhancing the art post by demonstrating effective use of white space.
Heh...
Links I post are often from my online bookmark page (nicklink).
Anachronda "I thought the ampersands might prove tricksy."
OM: "Black diamonds? I don't see any black diamonds? Do you?"
On another browser on another computer they show up as little boxes. No less annoying, of course.
Gem: "I copied and pasted from the post and Pixy no like it"
Commenters who don't want 500 errors (and AHEM! post bloggers who don't like black diamonds):
The little black diamonds with question marks - they're black holes that suck my attention away from the text. Didn't that supervillain Eclipso use a black diamond? They're evil!
SarahW, you can use those Unicode characters on here (maybe) if you pre-wash your message here:

I certainly did fail to close that tag. My comment overfloweth with Italians. As they say on Ace of Spades.
“…no idea what you’re talking about.”
Oops. Used square-brackets instead of angled in my previous comment. If anyone with the Power wants to change 'em, go ahead.
andycanuck: That's weird. Aren't those supposed to start with instead of #? I usually don't do the number bits, but use things like hellip; ( … ).
Gran, thanks always for the birthdays.
Wash your text through this webpage and it should replace the high characters with Pixy-acceptable html; codes.

Computing: It's not for the timid. You say, "It took me a long time and a lot of trial and error to learn how to post graphics in the reply section." No kidding.
Eliminate those pesky black diamonds

Is there something maybe missing in the post lead? I notice it seems to begin with a stray less-than/html tag opener.
Asking for an obsessive-compulsive friend.
I always thought the floor would be sticky. It's... slimy!
and me in my sock feet. Note to self: Put on waders before attempting html tricks on AoS.
I know, this post looks like a Monty Doom article.

Only, bolder.
AllenG: Okay, let's take this apart:
That immediately had me rubbing my hands in glee. Oh good! Someone's tackling it!
Okay, don’t know if you’ll see this addition to more-than-week-old thread but I just found it.

If that works, it’s done thusly: ♥

Chrissyyyyyyyy! Like your graphics, BUT... (don't you hate it when someone starts that way?)
"...a big blank white space between lines of type?"
My trepidation was simply that I wouldn't want to be muddying this lovely crystal pool when things are going so swimmingly. (Block that metaphor!)
How did you do that line through…?
