Isaac Asimov
Is there other Intelligent Life "out there"? If not, why not? If so, will we ever contact them? Comparison of some ideas, science-fiction notions, and what The Urantia Book says.
Re: Fermi's paradox
Decades ago (so, take my biomemory with a shaker of salt), I recall reading that Asimov was in front of his typewriter at 9am and worked through (presumably with lunch break) until 5pm.
I read Isaac Asimov's Foundation trilogy back when I was in high school.
Re books for young'n's, IIRC, Asimov early in his career did a series of books for kids, which should be good straight-up SF.
For those of you who missed it, the Jonah Goldberg link to Isaac Asimov's 1964 predictions for 2014
liberals think they can improve on His work.
