Entire Public School Board Freaks Out From Critical Race Theory Ban In Oklahoma, Member Blames ‘White Fragility’
Marlo Safi, Daily Caller, May 11, 2021
The entire Oklahoma City Board of Education denounced a law passed Friday that bans Critical Race Theory (CRT) in public schools, calling it “racist” and an “insult,” numerous sources reported.
The eight-member school board said Monday that they worry House Bill 1775 will prevent accurate lessons involving race and history, according to The Oklahoman.
Ruth Veales, a board member, said the law was intended to “protect white fragility” and that the ban was an “insult” because the district has a large population of minority students.

'His mental and physical condition cannot be ignored': More than 120 retired generals and admirals sign open letter questioning Biden's mental health and backing election fraud claims
The letter echoes former President Donald Trump's claims of widespread election fraud – which have not been borne out in the courts – and comes on a day when Rep. Liz Cheney ripped Trump for his claim that the election was 'stolen.'

'Recent Democrat leadership's inquiries about nuclear code procedures sends a dangerous national security signal to nuclear armed adversaries, raising the question about who is in charge. We must always have an unquestionable chain of command.'

Of course it's not history. But sadly, actual American history hasn't been taught in our schools for decades now.
For example, how many school kids (or American adults, for that matter) know that the Massachusetts and Virginia colonies' legislatures, for years heading up to 1776, passed laws abolishing slavery, only to have those laws repeatedly rejected by their governors, who were agents of the British crown? The British didn't want anything interfering with the income they were receiving from the colonies, and they thought outlawing slavery would reduce their profits.
In one of the first drafts of the Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson included a paragraph stating that one of the colonies' main grievances against the king was his support for slavery and his continued rejection of American colonists' attempts to pass laws against it. That paragraph was later deleted at the request of some South Carolina plantation owners, in a compromise to get SC to agree to the Declaration.
The United States did not come into being to perpetuate slavery. That is a bald-faced lie.
