Five Short Songs for Little Ones

School Bus — This discordant bit of nonsense is partly, if not entirely, Majic's creation. There really was a school bus ahead of us. I've done my best to duplicate the noise we make when singing.
Bees in the Trees — We came out of the garage one night, and neighbor Diana's dear old Bo, was standing there waiting for us, wet from recent rain. I said, "soggy doggy," and Baby Jo (as she was known then) cleverly replied "wet pet." The soggy doggy got changed to a groggy froggy some time later.
I Bought Me a Horse — I have fond memories of Grandfather D.M.Tyler leading us in singing this as we'd ride home from the farm on summer nights. Known as "I bought me a cat," there are many variations to be found on the web. Some websites list it as "traditional," but I've also found it credited to Aaron Copeland Although I knew since childhood that only the horse and the duck made the traditional English-speaking sounds, I never thought about how any of the others were spelled until I tried writing this up.
Swing Set — A playground song. Obviously.
Doodley Doo — We call this one our Family Anthem. Sheer goofiness by Daddy Don.
