On Sunday, California Governor Jerry Brown vetoed a bill that would have effectively nullified in practice some Food and Drug Administration (FDA) rules that prevent terminally-ill patients from accessing experimental treatments. … “This is a baffling veto,” Tenth Amendment Center national communications director Mike Maharrey said. “Why in the world would you wait to see if the FDA program works? Of course it won’t work. Gov. Brown is basically putting people’s lives in the hands of the equivalent of the DMV.” …

At the time, they needed a source of natural gas for their plant was well as large amounts of limestone and shale or clay. United States military aircraft dropped fifty tons of ammunition to the Syrian “rebels” today. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia sent 500 TOW anti-tank missiles to the Free Syrian Army to help them in their fight against the Russians and the Assad regime.
In other news, twenty “asylum-seekers” filed a lawsuit against Berlin’s main refugee registration center for taking too long to register them. The plaintiffs asserted that they waited more than a week without being registered, and were therefore unable to collect essential social benefits.…
