…On this day in 1996 Bill Clinton's former business partners in the Whitewater land deal, Jim McDougal and Susan McDougal, and the Governor of Arkansas Jim Guy Tucker, were convicted of fraud. Like always Clinton skated out. All the others except Jim Guy Tucker went to jail. He got probation. Susan McDougal went to jail for contempt of court because she refused to rat out Bubba.
