Media screams: Pope Says There is No Hell
425 The Vatican today issued a clarification of the Pope's remarks about the pits of perpetual perdition.
Seems that the Holy Father's remark was incorrectly overheard, mistranslated, misreported, and the report was riddled with typos and spellcheck errors. Furthermore, the Holy Father ran out of gas! had a flat tire! didn't have enough money for cab fare! His mitre hat didn't come back from the cleaners! An old friend came in from out of town! Someone stole the Popemobile! There was an earthquake! A terrible flood! Locusts! IT WASN'T MY FAULT, I SWEAR TO GOD!!!
