The young “Frenchman” who stabbed a British woman and a dog to death at a hostel in Queensland appears to have been motivated at least in part by sexual obsession with the victim (the human victim, that is — not sure about the dog), in addition to the jihad aspect implied by “Allahu Akhbar”. If so, it makes this incident very similar to the murder of a Polish woman in a Reutlingen restaurant back in July. Perhaps the killer lusted after her, and fantasized that she was already his property, an infidel sex slave possessed by his right hand. Then, when she popped his testosterone-filled balloon, he went into full jihad mode to avenge his injured honor, just like the perp in Reutlingen.

In other news, a coordinated jihad attack on American University in Kabul killed one person and wounded at least 25 others.…

A 29-year-old “Frenchman” stabbed a British woman to death and critically wounded a British man at a hostel in Queensland. The perpetrator is alleged to have shouted “Allahu Akhbar” as he committed his heinous acts. A dog was also stabbed to death. The man’s motive is not known at this time, although he is said to have had mental problems. There’s no word yet as to whether he was bullied in school, but the Australian police assure the public that he acted alone and that there is no link to terrorism.

…On this day in 1948 the House Un-American Activities Committee held the first-ever televised congressional hearing. This was "Confrontation Day" between Whittaker Chambers and Alger Hiss.
