Three Walmart workers in McDonough, Georgia refused to decorate a “thin blue line” cake for a police officer’s retirement party because they said it was racist.… A Walmart corporate spokesperson confirmed most of the story. “Our goal is to always take care of customers…. But, sometimes we misstep.We’re glad we were able to connect with the family to apologize and make this right.” …The manager offered to make and decorate a new cake. But… the cake decorators refused to comply. “So the manager told me that he would decorate it — but it looked terrible,” the police officer’s daughter said. “It doesn’t look professional.”…

Quite a "misstep"! One would hope those cake-maker heads rolled.

The man suspected of killing five people last night at a mall near Seattle has been arrested. His name is Arcan Cetin, and according to his Facebook page, he is from Turkey. The names of the victims — four women and one man — have yet to be released, pending autopsy results, but the youngest is said to be a 16-year-old-girl.

In other news, a large explosion in downtown Budapest caused dozens of casualties, but no reported deaths. The cause of the blast is not yet known, but it is thought to have been a gas leak.…
