Folding paratrooper bikes
I'm... actually more intrigued by what she's riding than by her, lovely as she is. I mean.. what ARE that contraption?

Not absolutely certain, but it looks like it might be one of those folding paratrooper bikes made during WWII? Certainly the design is late '30's to mid '50's.
