Home, with a rum drink in hand and my sock feet up on the desk.

*clears throat*

For my next number, in honor of an obscure Mexicanish holiday, here's a sad little risqué romantic ballad, with an island-Samba beat, which I wrote 'way back in the late 1970s. Being as the band is too drunk to play, I'll speak it a capella, and you can imagine the tune.

Two margaritas and a piña colada,
Sounds like the beginning of a song!
Two margaritas and a piña colada,
Sadly, didn't last very long.

Thank you, thank you. Try the waitress. Tip your cow.

Motivated to download and listen to tonight's Mark Levin. Don't usually catch it, but always prefer the 1h50m replay over the 3h broadcast.

And y'know what? Not only is JJ Sefton not crazy, as certified by Levin, but he wheedled a year of LevinTV at a price I could actually afford!

Time t'head home. Fortunately, one Negro Modelo with my quesadilla dinner is not enough to preven mi frum drving sfewly sew isle bee buck whin II gettto thotherend. Hoppy sanka du yoko!

Too late to post in previous thread, so...
Seamus Muldoon #226:
Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh!

I read that in Joe E. Ross's voice.

I'm probably the only one.

Something more current for this thread:

The one consolation for this election:

It won't be Bush v Clinton.

Man'o'man, I'm still back in the early #200s comments. Got the Vic News, checked out the Misanthropic Mystery Headlines, guzzled coffee, fed the pets, and plowed through the commentary, but still so far behind. There'll be an Art Thread by the time I get caught up to this comment!

And I'm employing the Quick Read method for comments: Read only the Wisest and Wittiest Commenters and skip past the rest. You know who.

Would be easier if the "posted by" were atop the comment.

Just kidding - obsessively, compulsively reading every syllable any Moron posts. Yes, my life is that dull.

Mawnin' Glawries!

Noticed on the calendar this morning that the name of the day today was printed, in Spanish. Really odd. That isn't done on the other 366. Not even the Cuatro de Julio!

Gonna go start the coffee machine, then track down the Vic News, peruse the Mystery Headlines above, read some of the brilliant Moron comments, and then... it'll be too late for me to comment anywhere. Lucky you.

That wet slapping sound you just heard was me hitting the wall for the night.

Sayonara, Morons.

God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah. That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.

Anon Y. Mous #301: Grace Slick owes a huge debt to society. The bill continues to increase every time a radio station plays We Built This City.

You mean, a huge debt to Great Society.

Little-known true fack: The original lyric was "We built this city on rigmarole."

Gee but it's great to be back home.
Home is where I want to beeeee, boys.

Kindltot #207: Goodnight. Have some Tubes.

That... was not what I was expecting.

Christopher Taylor #248: ...it takes real talent to wail tone deaf and creaking like a bag lady on a 10 day bender and make it work!

Upgraded for you.

I don't rely on time. Time is what man made for our convenience, and in reality, it does not exist.

Sooo... Yoko Ono is as wise a scientist as Kneel in De Grass TiesOn and Bile Nye. Who knew?
