The early part of this thread - randy remarks with an occasional blurp of politics spilling over from last thread.

The latter part of this thread - politics pr0n with an occasional bleat of remarks upon the art's assets.

This says something about something, I'm sure.

I think there's a lot to be said about matchmaking. Most folks left to their own judgment don't seem to do very well.

RD Brewer never posted art like those! ... uh, I mean, like that!

Nice use of lighting.

Morning, y'all. I'm a thread behind, but I think I can get through the headlines pretty quickly, and I'll be back... in time for the next thread?

You have turned for me my mourning into dancing: you have put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; to the end that my glory may sing praise to you, and not be silent.

O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

If I leave three comments in a row, it's too late for me to be on the ONT.

Home at last and all pets accounted for. Yay!

Evolutionary Hat: In upright humans, the breasts were close to eye level...

Yeah, "close to," but not quite. Hence, "Hey! My eyes are up here!"

("Yeah, I'm sure they are...")

So, I took time to craft a tl;dr response and missed the Captain? That's the ONT for you.

Surprised, with all the talk of robots and matrix sex nobody's mentioned the classic Orgasmatron.

Now it's time for me to say...

Hold my beer and watch this!...

Captain Whitebread: Mindful, I'm not ticked off at you. I want you to know that. And if that works for you, great....

Oh, no prob at all, Cap'n. Mine was not advice I'd follow!

In fact, I trample all over the rules when it comes to dealing with the confusions that occur in man-woman communications. My marriage survives, despite or because I don't yield.

I've got in-law relations that the guys put up with the hysteria in silence, and I respect that, because their women just would not be gainsaid. N.B., those women are *not!* screwing around on their guys - they're just screwy. So, "yes, dear," for the sake of peace and the kids, works for them.

I have thought at times to suggest to single Morons that I know of a lovely young woman, quite amazing Moronette-level gal, with a certain, rare self-awareness to question her own Female Assumptions. But can you imagine having me for a father-in-law!?!?!

The saying goes, don' stick yer dik in crayz, but I believe you just can't escape the crayz. (And neither can the 'ettes.) It's just the degree-amount of crayz you can handle, and whether it's sufficiently moderated by sincerity and sanity. I'm lucky enough to know Milady-love will listen, even when she's sure I'm wrong. And every once in a long, long while, I might be!

Insomniac: Terrible advice. Don't fall for the shit test.

Captain Whitebread: Yeah, thanks, but no. For the last five years of my marriage, those were the words I heard from the ex, while she was screwing everything with an eleventh finger....

Heh, yeah, I should've added, IF you want to continue with that one. Didn't say anything about keeping your pride. Or your nads. Just acknowledging how the system is rigged.

Sorry to read about Capt Whitebread's date snafu. I had been so glad to read of your recent positive experiences.

You can't explain that you did text the correct date, and expect contrition or concession of blame from the lady. That's not how it works. Right, guys?

How is it your fault? That's what you have to figure out.

"I should have called again (repeatedly) to confirm the date!"

That's the apology you need to give. With the flowers.

Advice from a guy who's been married for over forty years to the same gal, so what do I know about dating? Or dealing with the crayz?

Between the vajayjay beer discussions and the cat puke, I'm wondering if the [banned topics] might not be expanded? Not sure if the mayo should be included...

Just kidding, of course. Morons atwerk as usual.

What happened to "aloha"? I thought that was yours‽

I already had to give up "Morning, Glories!" because folks kept stealing it. Next thing, someone will steal my "Good night, Gracies!" Harrrumphhgfffh.

Common-sense chalk control!

We need to pass more chalk-registration laws. No more open chalk carry! Only registered, licensed government-approved authorities should have chalk!

I re-rolled this video to correct for Jack's birth year, so I figured I'd link it again ICYMI.

Video webwork, slightly less than 1 minute. Might need a serious-size screen to really see the "action."

[And BW, if you see this, I don't like to leave misunderstandings standing: I hope you did or will come to understand that, stupid I may be, but last week I was not upset, just confused, because I hadn't realized that I had neglected to include the link and didn't realize why you had done me the favor you did.]

Rather than plunging into the gardening thread, I think I need to take a walk in the garden, breathe some fresh air. Listen to the birdies singing. Smell the wildfires smoke.

He's a first-term Senator who gives good speeches. That remind you of anyone?

You mean the devoted Christian, praised by his law professors, who has successfully argued Constitutional cases before the Supreme Court, thoughtful and reflective off-the-cuff speaker, compares to the communist community organizer who even Rev Wright doesn't think is seriously religious, the occasional anti-Constitutional lecturer that no classmates can remember, who can barely speak without a teleprompter?

Totes the same, yah.

rickl: The National Enquirer has a pretty good track record with stories like these.

Um... seriously, rickl? Cruz didn't sue Trump's pals att tabloid rag for "allegations have been made" so you think it's true?

And, one or two hits out of thousands of misses is a "pretty good track record"? Blind pig. Stopped (analog) clock.

Batboy of course was indisputable. And Prez Bush meeting with the gray extraterrestrial. (Or was that Weekly World News?) Elvis is, actually, working at the 7-11 in Minnesota. Hillary's bald because of the cancer. Marilyn is living with Bobby in South America. All true, all the time.

Speaking of penguins...

I still haven't been able to figure out if it's an April Fool joke or not because this was linked yesterday on Political Clown Parade (c/o Likes.com, and it's a year old).
