I like primary colors.
Primary education is important.
Anyone ever hear of the Australian band, Primary?
In astronomy, the Primary is the larger of two co-orbiting bodies.
I drew these thoughts from primary and secondary sources.

Poor Maet: This thread will probably just get stomped on...
Some election post would just siphon the election chatter away from the ONT. That's a good thing, right?
ONTs never really get stomped. They just get skimmed.
Hellow mellow fellows. It's tired and I'm late. Got to visit my mom and sister today. That's a good thing.

So good to know that an MP4 link can be trusted!!

Because, it's not like you have the right to keep and bear arms, or anything.
Speaking of which, hooray for W Va. Would that good old Oklahoma reflected Consititutional rights! I think of the early Oklahomans, of my grandfather's younger days, being required to complete a course, be fingerprinted, and registered, to keep and bear arms, and I laugh, and cringe.
Darn I was looking forward to the ban on my X-tra Large Soda
WhatWhatWhat?: One of the best things about the Dump is trying to guess what the story is about from the Dump headline (dumpline?)
I guessed this one easy.
Yeah, I didn't even hover to see what the headline said.
Good job on the headlines today, MisHum.
Gotta say, though, a day without Vic's acid take on things is like a day without morning coffee or bacon.
I think he got discouraged by the irregularity of early morning threads. Or, he's enjoying sleeping late. Hope it's the latter.
JJS: ...317 to Inauguration Day...
If I had this on text-to-voice readout, I would have it read that part r-e-a-l-l-y s-l-o-o-o-w-l-y-y-y every day. 'Cause that's how it feels.

Apparently not? (404 link.)
Gooooood Morning, Moronkind!!
Let's remember to smile (anti-Duchenne or not), be happy (with or without happiness thread), and hold the head up high. Just because. Striking fear is just a side benefit. (H/t NaCly Dog and irongrampa who regularly remind us to do these things.)
Doubting Thomasina - God bless your eyes. And heart.
Can you set up text-to-voice? You could still hear the horde! (I can just imagine!)
If you could get Porky Pig voice instead of Stephen Hawking's, we'd sound better.

Alberta Oil Peon: Who was it that rogered the entire thread by doing double open tags? That was epic.
Don't remember who that was, but I know no number of close-tags were effective. Occurs to me now that perhaps a capitalized open tag was used!
Alberta Oil Peon: Problem is, people put stuff other than grass in grasslands. Like buildings.
There were 17 fire companies fighting this one. I think they spend most of their time saving homes. It was racing off the ranches and toward town, too.
As I drove along, I was thinking about how far and long such a fire would have burned 100+ years ago.
And, yes, it will all be green soon. A smaller fire a half-mile east of our home from a month ago is already coming out green.
nerdygirl: Are these fires arson, or accidental?
I don't know about this one, but as I said they just arrested a couple for starting one back in February.
Sometimes just the tossed cigarette. Or some dope thinks he can control a small trash fire. (Looks shifty-eyed at scorched area on my farm from a week ago.)
Rain's moved in now, though. Should be a big help.
"But those who survived the purges hailed Stalin as a supreme genius..."
Frantically, desperately, loudly, and fearfully.
Howdy, nighttypes. This afternoon, we drove up to see the damage done by the grassfires, and it was tremendous. Thousands of acres blackened. Many places, you could see it got really close to homes. The huge ranch that burned has a sizable herd of wild horses. At one point, they were reported desperately fleeing the flames. Don't know how they fared.
Don't know how this one got started, but a couple was just arrested for starting a grassfire back in February in the same area, and they're are looking for a couple of accomplices. Considering conditions, and the potential for people to be killed, I'd think they could at least charge them with something like attempted manslaughter? Or just hang them, that would work for me.
joncelli: Can the CiC unilaterally abandon a military base without the consent of Congress[?]
It's always so cute when people naively talk like TFG is in any way constrained by law or the Legislative Branch.
jwest: You can leave them alive. Just hang them on lamp posts so that they can't write anymore.
Uhh. Almost-impressive recovery-spin attempt there.
