Are we Yoko-free tonight?
Prob'ly no time to play with the commenters tonight. Just going to check the post.
I know, I know, that's doing it all backward. But sometimes Maet has something interesting:

Clinton Creating Conspiracy Theories to Explain Away Her Email Scandal
It's really amazing.
All those bimbos, lying about Bill's rapes and hounding.
All those Benghazi victim relatives, lying about what she said to them.
The Obama-appointed Inspector General, lying about her emails.
I'm sure I'm forgetting a few, but isn't it tragic how all these liars surround her! Veritably diabolical, it is.
"In this country American means white. Everybody else has to hyphenate."
Pure disgusting racism and hate-mongering.
American means citizen. I always enjoy those (too few) non-white citizens who reject the whole hyphenization identification.
[Trump is] even more abrasive, more self-serving, and less qualified than Barack Obama ever was.
I'd quibble with part of that: How do you get less qualified than "not at all"? Der Donald might actually have some qualifications as an administrator - whether that means he'd do anything right or not being another matter.
Palin Jumps the Shark by Pam Geller: "Cruz stood with us after we were attacked by jihadis in Garland, Texas. Trump attacked us. Does Palin support that?"
Just noticed that Geller also links to a very interesting Trump vs. Cruz comparison chart by Doug Ross.

So, were you at the Mabee Center last night?

Hot in here today.
CharlieBrown'sDildo: I have accused no one of being either a sexual deviant or a failure.
*Ahem*
well...
Even the Stump for Trump gals have lost me. I enjoyed their shtick almost every video. I liked the way they stayed on-topic in their videos and in interviews, their Ditch-and-Switch to Repubican campaign, and their back-and-forth patter was highly amusing.
But they follow The Donald's lead, and I was finally turned off by their latest rant; watched just a few seconds of "TED CRUZ IS THE MEANING OF ROTTEN FRUIT" and gave them up.
Too bad. In a lot of ways, they were really demonstrating how to politic.
Thought about going to see Trump in Tulsa.
Got over it.
There were 5000 standing outside so I heard.
Madness.
I am sort-of coming to Trump is losing it, too, though. It's a shame. Enjoyed him when he was doing better.
Morning, Glories!
Bitter Clinger: ...still following an acknowledge[d] legal procedure...
Oh absolutely. In fact, the last thing we did was consult a lawyer to be sure our understanding was correct (and, as said, to change my will). Just implicit, not explicit, licensing - the state actually had nothing to do with "permitting" it was why I liked it. Freedom!
...both of you might be better off (say when you're older) to have an actual marriage.
Oh, FU on "actual marriage," you statist tyrant. You calling our kids bastards is fightin' words, sonny.
Thirty-six years of married life, legal and state-approved, is more actual than many a "licensed" marriage. Yeah, "when we're older" ... I'll think about that, junior.
Must be my cue to check out of this dump. Enjoy your Yoko, yokels.
Good night, Gracies.
Bitter Clinger: Marriage requires a license because of the legal entanglement....
Not exactly. I mentioned on here recently that Milady and I married each other by Okla. common law. No state license, also no JP or preacher, just "holding ourselves forth as married." (I did change my will to reflect it.)
You have to be dang sure folks know you're "holding yourself forth," though, should you come to any of those legal entanglements you mentioned. And I think you forgot one of the worst: divorce.
Arson Wells: New England area?
Not sure, but it looks like you mistook my saying NE for New England?
North-East Oklahoma.
Same accent. ![]()
Arson Wells: ...reminds me of the old tombstone somewhere in England. It reads...
It was a common inscription across the US. There's a tombstone with that inscription just out in the yard. (My "yard" includes an old AmerIndian graveyard, one of the earliest with tombstones here in NE Okla.)
Greetings, Overnighters.
Just lurkin' a bit before headin' f'r bed.
Shouldn't the firepower graphic have some sort of legend?
An electorate that would vote an unqualified "community organizer" in as President - twice!?? Beyond embarrassing. Terrifying.
No, no, wait, I haven't finished with the previous thread yet.
Dang!
