Happy Birthday, Tammy! (In 10 minutes here)

Normally lately by this time I'd've been in dreamland for several hours. But, we got home late, and then I read the ONT, and then I wandered through the comments while listening to the storm roll in, and then Milady decided to cook some salmon, which she's never done before, and I had to have some and it was delicious, just amazing.

And I'm glad I did stay up, because I figured out what the "brought to us by" white space was for.

Funny thing is, on my setup, with javascript and plug-ins turned off, all both the (presumably) videos are blank spaces.

So, I have no idea if the "brought to us by" space is really just blank space or something else.

Nice use of white space. Okay, not really.

And with that, and a belch of satisfaction, it's off to bed I go. Heavy rains, stormy winds, and possible tornadoes in our forecast for the next several hours. So relaxing.

I keep scanning the comments, 'cause if anything significant happens, it tends to be reported here first.

Apparently Carson is not as significant as Charlie Sheen's diseased sex life.

I appreciate the second-hand reporting on the traitor in chief. As others say, I can't listen to him. I don't have teevee so I never see and hear him, but any time he comes on the car radio, I am quick to punch the off button, which is push on-off not dial-down.

Quick and hard, I should say. As a consequence, the left side of the radio has come loose from the dashboard.

A couple of my own items I thought I'd post before perusing the Vic News and y'all's comments. And before the next thread hits.

CBS has replaced tomorrow's originally scheduled episode of Supergirl due to Friday's terrorist attacks in Paris. The original episode, "How Does She Do It?", featured Supergirl thwarting a series of bombings throughout National City. Due to concerns the bombings too closely mirror the attacks on Paris, CBS has replaced the episode with "Livewire", which was originally scheduled to air on Monday, November 23rd.

Heard on the radio yesterday a bit of news that will get buried beneath the trivial and the violent: US farm income down 36%.

Don't know about you, but that seems to me like a pretty serious problem. But, I am not a farmer.
