Morning, Glories! Another glorious day to try and figure out why God put us here. Failing that, just enjoy it as much as you can.

I have amended and revised my "Ace of Spades Blog Commenter's Survival Guide" (after only one day) to reflect suggestions made by folks and some things I thought of. I should emphasize this is the "unauthorized and unofficial" guide.

Carol asked yesterday morning why one can't use "Blaster." Nope. You can't use "bl@zer" (with an a). As to why, imagine a commenter so awful that its very name is banned on the board. From before my time, but that's what I heard. If you want to talk about the Chevy car, you have to use a workaround.

Lizzy asked if I'd covered the 500 error problem. I did. Check the "Non-ASCII characters" section.

Any additional suggestions, things to add, or better ways to say things, let me know.

Now to catch up on the comments and ignore some morning chores... until the pets get mean.

I had thought about adding something about the Amazon link. I'll see if I can condense the technique down to something for the Moron attention span.

Lizzy: I did put in about avoiding the 500 error (is it 505?) especially w cut&paste. Have another cuppa coffee.

Thanks for the ideas, and if anyone can re-phrase any of my suggestions to make them clearer, let me know.

Four cats + dog all ran outside this morning, so I got to prepare their food without hassling cats at my feet. That was unusual.

The doe that has been grazing in the yard in the mornings brought a friend today. Dog doesn't seem interested in chasing them anymore. The diseased vermin are cute, as they eyeball me, wiggle their ears, and go back to their breakfast.

That's the morning critter report from the middle of 'merica.

In the "yeah, sure" department:

Vic: The House has passed a defense bill that prevents Obama from closing GITMO and sending the terrorists to the US.

Which TFG can ignore, and which TFG already didn't have the power to do, right? (I'll bet some commenter already noted this.)

Still, nice to see the lip-service to the thought.

My usual technique of not getting on with my day until the art thread is superceded is just not working today.
