The long-running comic panel Reverend Fun has ended its run. First panel was November, 1997. (Almost as long as Mindful Webworks has been around.) Not an easy gig, religious humor. There were some good ones. So long, Reverend Fun, and God bless you.

So, the two Marines, one critically injured and one with a knife injury, turned into USAF with bad but non-critical cuts on his neck, an Oregon NG not injured, another American, and a Brit, with two other people injured by a gun that did or did not fire. So far?

The "beat him until he was unconscious" part is a nice update, in any case.

Last millennium, back when we lived in Chicago, the oldies station did a weekend countdown of the top gazillion oldies.

We were gathered 'round the radio when it finally came time to see what they thought was #1. And with much drumroll and drama, the DJ spun up "Red Rubber Ball."

Ha ha, they scratched that after the first chorus, and put on the real #1, whatever it was, long forgotten.

But I've had "Red Rubber Ball" stuck in my head ever since. Worst. Brain. Worm. Ever.

It's not really a bad song. Think it's gonna be all right, yeah, the worst is over now. They just shouldn't have recorded it with the "placeholder" lyric. The morning sun is shining like... ANYTHING BUT THAT!
