@votermom: Willowed when I posted about my nightmare. Jist as well, I guess.
Not entirely willowed. I replied. Sorta.
Anyway, open threads roll on and take no notice of Ace posts. Nobody corgies over to an Ace post to comment; it's too crowded.

HH: Kinda early for ace.
Pfft. This little piece of fluff is just Ace stretching & warming up.
He may even be sleep-blogging. In case he's not: Morning, Ace!
I finally woke up when the bugs were getting so huge that sleeping me told myself "this is ridiculous."
Coming soon to a political theater near you.
ACE IS UP? NOW? Can't be. I sense a powerful disgruntlement in the Force.
But can you eat a steak with the F-35?
@votermom gets right to the meat of the matter. ![]()
Heh...
Links I post are often from my online bookmark page (nicklink).
I was just looking back over that page to see what else might be worth mentioning, when I saw that I had an item that had AoSHQ-style [ i ] and [ /i ] plainly showing, instead of regular html making italicans.
Not the first time I've tried to use square-bracket styling elsewhere than AoSHQ.
Sometimes this ol' software amuses. Sometimes.
BTW, Tim in Illinois, what you were looking for with del is [ s ]struckout[ /s ] (sans spaces of course). The many, many styling choices you have here are: i, b, s, and u. b! i! Can't do those on an ordinary typewriter!
...I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated, by succeeding Generations, as the great anniversary Festival. It ought to be commemorated, as the Day of Deliverance by solemn Acts of Devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with Pomp and Parade, with Shews, Games, Sports, Guns, Bells, Bonfires and Illuminations from one End of this Continent to the other from this Time forward forever more....

This is the kind of quality discussion which keeps us all reading the comments here on this smart revolutionary blog.
...When the dozen or so activists began burning the flag, a group of counter-protesters approached them and they scattered like scalded dogs. One man, John Carroll, a resident of Ridgewood, Queens, rescued the flag and challenged the little pricks, calling them cowards. Watching the video warmed my heart....

kaviak - when I stumbled across that old Weird Universe article the other day, I never imagined I'd have use for the link so soon. But, AoSHQ, so, no real surprise. ![]()

Um... tomorrow, maybe?
Wow, slow today.
You know what this thread needs?
A mariachi band!
[Arizona Prison Mariachi Band marches in, playing a lively version of Jailhouse Rock a la Blues Brothers finale]
GnuBreed: RIP, Joffen. You have not been forgotten.
It's true. I didn't know him well, but think of Joffen offen. Miss his spinning on his heels, walking off whistling.
Morning, Glories! Morning, Glories!
Seemed like a good day to say it twice.
If I don't leave now, I'll miss the other end of the ONT which serves for a morning thread nowadays.
So... Good Night, Gracies... wait!
Let's say it together, now folks...

In the city the other day, Milady and I were stuck behind a car with the co-ex-ist sticker. We came up with two variants. Of course, later I could only remember one.

I'm not happy with the R and the C, suggestions welcome for v2.
Then I found the COMPLY - it's plainly a compelling theme!
What used to be shocking and deviant is now commonly accepted. How quaint is the upset look on that blond guy, now that polygamous-polyspecies marriage is legal in all fifty-seven states, under the latest Supreme Court rulings! ... ![]()
