Yeah. Watching pre-race tv for hours, griping about waiting for the big race to start, and then missing the big finish... priceless!

It's -- somewhat a strain for me to not wax cynical when I read devotionals that reinforce what I've known and tried to live by for decades, only to meet constant defeat and feel like I've never known the right way, much less followed it. I could write a thesis m'self....
I think I have found the essence of the problem. It's that still, small voice behind me that whispers, "this is the way." So, I say, oh? okay! and I turn around and head that way, and I hear that voice behind me again, so I turn around....

My great disillusionment was in the ancient days of a previous millennium. One day, I picked up the latest issue of Spider-Man, and it wasn't drawn by Steve Ditko. Likewise was the Original Web Master gone from the pages of Doctor Strange. Their true canon ended there. Everything since has been mere franchising.
