I've been thinking about that a lot. Ace can do his thing same as ever. The front page works normally. I'm not sure, but I though I saw they even have high ASCII on the front page (no black diamonds). So, everything is fine (gud enuf) with mu.nu. What happens to commenters and minx.cc doesn't affect that.
The finest commenting community on teh webz meets in an interface that has, in my experience, become decreasingly accomodating with each iteration. It's one thing to not have threading, live links, ordinary HTML, or embedded pix - now some folks can't even get here! How many months had it been? At least #twoweeks.
I sympathize with Pixy - I also sympathize with illegal alien children or Hamas-victimized Pali kids - but I sympathize first and foremost with my threatened civilized community. This community operates under mission-hindering ROE.

I just spent five days learning just how hopelessly inadequate my decade-old desktop is to anything I'm trying to do. Five days not doing what can be done, was eventually done, in a couple of hours. Ctrl-Alt-Del again again again...
Apparently, who knew? there have been some slight improvements in speed and performance since Bush was re-elected. Nothing I didn't know intellectually, but now I have comparative, epiphanously educational enlightenment of experience.
Trying not to be too depressed.
