Modern medicine continues to just absolutely stun me.

I am not a doctor, and I don't play one on tv or evn have a tv, but on the pain-killers:

Fear of addiction, so I read, has caused some medical people, and individuals, to actually withhold much-needed painkillers because, for example, some chronically-in-pain elder might become hooked. Some of us can tough out more pain than others, but the whole point of having such drugs is for this very purpose of alleviating pain in case of severe injury or surgery, praise the Lord and pass the morphine. I wouldn't want the dentist to drill without novacaine, either. Sounds like the doc has in mind a sensible tapering-off program.

May his healing be as 100% as possible.

I've been working with some Obama speeches and interviews lately on another video. Since I've done my best to avoid listening to him all these years, its been painful. But, more than ever I see that his relationship with the words he says is purely to deliver them, and he has no personal attachment to the ideas, good or bad, that he mouths. Possible exception, when praising Islam.

I've had to call and cancel a number of appointments because I missed on the first try and she went under the bed.

Tomato juice or soup is the weirdest thing to heat in a microwave. Have to heat it in bursts. It does not heat through evenly despite its liquidity, and will get hotspots that boil while other spots are cold. Gelatinous is different from wet, I guess. YMMV

Morning, Fen! I think Hill must be propped up like scenery in a cheap tv show. She's a few floors short of a picnic basket. Pray for her peace of what's left of her mind, as I'm sure you would, and that it come through getting the h out of politics for good. Alas, a soul so twisted, and a mind so steeped in Machiavellian thinking and self-justified evil experience is unlikely to be reached.

Checking the logs, it looks like only one visitor from AoSHQ clicked on the webwork I promo'd back at comment #450 around 1am. Apparently, reverse-psychology of telling folks not to click does not work on the horde.
