"The labor force participation rate is at a 36 year low...."

Un-possible! ABC radio news told me just last night that something like 200,000 new jobs had been created as the economy improves.

A. B. C. The A is for American, so it must be true.

None of this was here when I went to shower. I knew I should've taken the cell with me, just in case you people decided to sneak up on me.

The touch-screen thingy still works when it's wet, right?

Morning, Glories. Let's see what you've got today. Has the traitor in chief been thrown down yet?

Two links. Noted!

Well, while my overly-linked spiel about too-long videos (short form: cut to the chase!) gets moderated, here’s an example of a guy I like, in some ways, but can’t watch much. This link should start at 2:38 in the video, when he makes his main point. Not a half-bad positive rant about keeping the focus on the traitor in chief, but there’s all the 2:38 of build-up and more ‘build-down’ in the video I could do without. YMMV

After kind-of dissing Trifecta in my previous comment as running too long, Mrs & I just finished their part 2 (of 3 I think) on the terrorists’ release, and they kept my attention all the way through. This time.

Haven’t watched Zo in a while. On this one, I got only as far as the toilet shot, and quit.

Don’t know why, I used to watch them all, but he has kind-of… whatever is the opposite of “grown on me.” It’s not his message. Maybe it’s his delivery. Maybe it’s like the Trifecta guys, who just seem to run long. Sometimes you’ve got 1m 20sec of message, but you have to pad it out every time to 6 min. Why? It’s not like a network time slot.

I don’t think it’s that my attention span has been YouTube-ized (or Vine-ized, even worse). I don’t mind “wasting my time” with something entertaining as well as informative. (BTW, liked the Penn & Teller clip!!) But, for example, on the radio news coming in today, they spent maybe five times as much airtime telling us about a big breaking news story coming up and how they talked to the police and how they were on top of the story, before we finally found out some guy was standing on an overpass and the highway was shut down. “You just sorta wasted my precious time.”

And since I’m ranting, how about when I’m out on the weird Knockturn Alley fringes of YouTube, with the UFOs and the invaders from other dimensions, occasionally there’s some weird thing I think, that looks intriguing… and it’s an hour! It takes a whole hour to say, hey we found this strange buried thing that looks like this? Okay, that was tangential.

But, there’s just so much to see and hear and read. I hope someone who needs it just adores Zo and hangs on his every video. Lots of people could use a dose of Zo.

But if I’m going to listen to some guy talking today, I might just prefer fifteen minutes with Ronald Reagan’s Normandy Speech, 6/6/84, know what I mean? (h/t IOwnTheWorld via kilo6 on Ace)

Watching this again last night with Mrs & daughter, one of the most stunning things, after all the amazing things he’d already said, was when he came to the then-current situation with the Soviet Union — Occupied Poland! East Germany! — in light of subsequent history, indeed the history he in such large part helped make happen.

This ceremony confuses me, though. Where are the interpretive dancers? Needs more gum-chewing.

Thanks for that Ike speech, Andy.

Just as I sat down with my first cup of the day, to see what HQ had to say, Little Gray walks in the front door carrying someone in her mouth, someone nearly as big as she is.

Hilarity, as ever, ensued.

What I first took to be a huge rat, fortunately, turned out to be a young (older than baby) bunny. Much easier to catch.

Of course, proving to the clowder once again what a Mighty Hunter I am not, I took the trembling little guy out to the edge of the tall grass and let him go.

Probably cat bites have already doomed him. But he was cute, hopping off. Immediately wished I'd taken pix.

After little Richie Dawkins didn't get either a pony or a real live spaceship that Christmas, he kicked his bedroom door, then screamed at his imaginary friend to go away, go away forever, and never, ever come back. Richie had a terrible, awful, bad sad. The end?

The only comfort would have been if Bergdool had been sick, and they’d given his care over to the VA. :( [IT'S NOT FUNNY!! IN SO MANY WAYS!!]

Since you put up the “none left behind” poster, part 2 below. Neither of these is yet “listed” publicly on YouTube, nor posted on my website (but permission granted to pass around). I gave the Ace folks a sneak peek at part 1. Here’s parts 1 & 2 for the PoliNationals. There will be more, God willing and the creeps don’t rise.

Chrissy, I’m not sure I followed all the numberology — okay, I am sure I didn’t follow all of it :) — but I believe I got the gist that things are coming to a head, to which conclusion observation of the times would seem to lend great credence. :(

Doesn’t it seem that the Insane are hardening their hearts against Truth and Right in all aspects of life, more distinctly and publicly than ever? That natural enemies form inconceivable coalitions (Code Pinko and Muz Bro’hood??) based on their mutual opposition to the Right and Valuable? Easy to imagine their diabolical Leader is starting to feel the pressure of being backed into a corner and is not going down peacefully.

It’s almost as if a Great Choice were being forced, no fence-sitting anymore.

But, in so many ways, the Prince of Lies vs. the Spirit of Truth is a lonnng-time constant in this life, so maybe it’s just another day in the life of the planet. @@

I can’t say as I’d buy the idea that “God granted Satan extra power over His church.” As a matter of interpretation of things. (Knowing no more than I do, which is nothing.) Our Lord: “You have the time; you will have the power. Do with them what you will.” Sounds t’me more like, “Y’think so, huh? Go ahead! Try.” as opposed to, “Here, bad dude, have a bunch of extra power and time.”

Explicitly, it sounds like, “You have [such] time… [and] power [as you've got].” But I tend to think of such things in terms of, what would a parent do? Grant as much merciful delay as seems proper, perhaps, but that would not change by some rebellious child’s taunting request. Certainly a parent may allow evil choices, allow the consequences to do the persuading that the parent couldn’t, but would not expressly enable nor abet the evil choices. No doubt the debbil would think he got a big allotment, and he may act like he’s empowered and all that, which has real-world consequences in the madness he generates, but really, sorry, he’s mostly pathetic. Like Judas before he realized his error. Only this one is the fight for the whole planet. Am I rambling? Sorry.

I especially liked the Pope’s prayer.

Reid accuses GOP of playing politics with Bergdahl. Brandon Friedman (who hates speculation) speculates that Bergdahl’s platoon mates were all psychopaths. Used to be, I wasn’t so aware of psychological projection, but it’s been so painfully obvious for so long, now I see it every time. All these followers of the Great Liar are saying plainly what they’re doing. Reid is playing politics with Bergdahl. Friedman’s “platoon mates” are all psychopaths.

Info gleaned on Friedman from Ace morning thread (a great resource):

Shreveport, BA History LSU, Masters of Public Affairs UT Dallas.
Officer 101st Airborne Afghanistan and Iraq, author of “The War I Always
Wanted.”

Commenter: “Must think he knows his psychopaths pretty well.”

One of my favorite comments:

“I am sincerely curious. How do you grow up in life and become someone like Brandon Friedman? Honestly, how do you get [to] the point where someone will say to you, ‘Ok, this is getting out of hand, go post on Twitter that the platoon is full of psychopaths’ and you say, ‘Ok, I’ll do it.’ I have no comprehension on how you can grow up to have that little personal honor.” (Dave in Fla)

Friedman’s book “The War I Always Wanted” is a personal tale of his experience becoming disillusioned with war and the military… “Army Times and Military Times loved his book, described as angry and cynical … that there is your leadership”

Funny thing about reading. Or, how things are written. @@

“Son Of Convicted Abortionist Shot In Home Invasion Attempt,” I read.

Well, I thought, I don’t know anything about (presumably) Gosnell’s son, but nobody deserves to be shot in their own home by some punk.

I read on: “Barron Alexander, spawn of baby butcher Kermit Gosnell, who changed his name after his daddy became a guest of the state….”

This, I thought, could either be merely because of harassment or nobly, because of shame, and, if the latter, it seemed doubly unfortunate that the fellow, perhaps ashamed of association with Père Gosnell, had been shot by some home invader.

But kind-of random, not really news, except famous-by-association.

“…broke into a house to commit a robbery.”

… … … … … Oh.

Perspective. It changes everything.
