All "vice" taxes and "blue" laws are equivalent to prohibition, insofar as government is moralizing.

Flat sales tax on all sales taxable items, booze, pot, coke, gasoline, whatever, is the closest thing to a fair tax. Assumes govt is not IN the business of booze, drugs, gambling....
