Oh hi again ((and again - try #2, this time on intended thread - commenting is haaard)) lines of text with pretensions of personhood.
Can the happy doggeh from the last thread thread before last be transplanted here so I see it when I reload the page?
What's up so far, in seven words or fewer? Wait, I'll go read for myself. BRB...
or not...

It's a good slogan. I passed it on to Dan Bongino, running here in Md.
The doggeh makes me feel wheeee! Not bad.
Hey, glad there's an open thread (HI FOLKS!) because I have a random thought - as if I ever have any other. Sherman, set the Wayback Machine for the ONT, four days ago:
I had a glimpse of an advertisement come into my head today --- still hazy --- would have a phrase in it similar to: "If you want to keep your doctor you have to replace your Senator."

When I get to the desktop, that better be a danged funny video, taking up a whole dump headline like that, when something Syrias could have been linked!

Coburn is not exactly Tea Party, but he's a cut above RINO. Being old school gentleman may be his blind spot, a la Romney.
I would hope we could field a good Constitutionalist for Senator here in the true bluest of the true blue states, but I have know idea who's on the horizon for his replacement. Sherry? Soona?
No, we can't let our freshman Congressman Bridenstein move up yet.

Thank you, freaked.
I kept a little newslink blog when we had just started in Afghanistan. I listed every war death. Got heartbreaking at times, but if I'd kept up the blog, I'd still do it. They're not statistics. Each one someone's son, and our brother. And the world's finest.
I'm not anti-war, but I sure resent slaughter of our best of the best for goalless military entanglements.

Well, the kids are off for a FOURTH snow day after the assurance last night that they'd be back to school today. This is DAY 20 OF THEIR EXTENDED WINTER BREAK. AAARGH!

How terribly strange. Our home-schoolers were raised in Chicago, yet never had a snow day. But then, their teachers weren't union, and never even had weekends off.
"Looks like the DPRK team beat Dennis Rodman's ex-NBA team."
When the Globetrotters played against my high school's coaches (late 1960s), the Globetrotters won by just one basket, IIRC
And by played against, I of course mean permitted the coaches to occasionally get a basket to keep it fun.
At that point, it's not sport, it's theater. Wonder if Rodman's team discussed beforehand by how many points they ought to lose?

We first met Gilligan when he was the obviously-stoned beatnik Maynard.
Here's the final frame, transiting o the next scene, from his first appearance in Dobie Gillis. Note the oh-so-subtle implication by a clever film editor.
