Here I am reading a random open thread when I should be dressing for my son's wedding later tonight. Wonder what I'm going to wear? I'll find something.

Funny. The womenfolk have been wondering what they're going to wear for what seems like months now.

I usually just disappear, so today I think I'll say: see you later. Just to be personable and stuff. For the season. And the middle class.

Met daughter-in-law to-be's dad for the first time at the dinner last night. The poor man has 3 daughters this being the eldest. As I shook his hand I said, "So, is this going to work? He said, "It had better. I'm not taking her back." Good folks.

Our daughter, our eldest, m/l eloped. Marriage lasted 1 yr to the day. But, I think that gets me out of a big to-do when she marries for realz some day. (Prayers to hasten that day welcomed.)

In late last night after a wedding rehearsal dinner we got to pay for. (Sings: Tradition!) Fortunately. my daughter-in-law to-be's family don't drink much.
