Sherry, don't know about Boortz, but yes, the overcrowded pkg lot was at Bartlesville Wesleyan.

Didn't see any hecklers in the videos. But the one guy telling B we need to stay the h out of Syria was nice to see.

I'm no economist. I was really interested in it until I took my first course in college, and I lasted a week. 40 years later and I'm still recovering from college.

But it seems to this nobody, that there's two factors. One is the reality of economic interactions, which is as fixed as a lever's function. The other is the psychology of economics as you say - psychologically, one either understands gravity or doesn't, with predictable consequences, yet look at how many attempt to defy it!

The physics of economics is consistent up and down the everyday scale from home economy to planetary.

The psychology... Well according to Asimov, you have to have a pretty big sample base to process humanity's choices.

Think I'll go revisit Free to Choose.

g'morn neighbor Sherry. Did you see my note about the Town Hall here? Parking lot at Wesleyan was packed, so the Mrs didn't go in, but NewsOn6 vids showed relatively small crowd. Some rethinking needed there, or something.

Oh man, just in time! That last thread was looking pretty raggedy. I had to get up early for the barky dog, and my 1st cup of coffee just didn't feel right with the ONT.

The dog decided something outside needed intense barking at, too close to my gitup time, so, okay, I'm up. And the dog is back asleep. Where's my early summer sun? Where's the breakfast headlines? Hey! There's not even coffee at the buffet yet! Good thing I brought... pop-tarts! Help yourselves to weaponizing them.

Good morning, overnighters.

Slappy - thanks. Peaches - um.. uh.. thanks.

Now having my existence validated by text-based voices from my computer screen, I will sleep the sleep of the just.

Good night, ONT. Avoid the brown acid.

I was reading the Not Overnight Open Thread, going back 'n' forth to the Kaboom thread, and now there's the Real Overnight Thread. Too much fantastic bloggin' 'n' commentin' -- must be time for this webworker to take the shortcut to the morning threads.

Somebody wave g'bye so I can pretend I'm real.

Sherry, you there?

We were running late the other day, when the Mrs went by WSU for the Town Hall. The parking lot was totally packed, so she didn't go in.

Yet, looking at the video on NewsOn6, there were not many in attendance. I think there's some glitches in the plan there.

Also, at first glance, I mistook reported "terrorist attack" within moments of the shooting to be an announcement of some new attack I hadn't heard about yet. Erk.

Kaboom must've been after my Frosty Coated Sugar Bombs yout'. I have no recollection of it, so I looked in the Wikipedia. Yup, after my time:

Known primarily as a breakfast cereal of the 1970s and 1980s, Kaboom remained available for sale until 2010 when it was discontinued by General Mills.

also

Quentin Tarantino's 2003 movie Kill Bill Vol. 1 included a scene in which character Vernita Green uses a gun hidden in a box of Kaboom cereal in an attempt to kill The Bride.

A box of Kaboom also appears as a focal point in the Butthole Surfers' video for their song "Cherub".

Kaboom cereal was referenced in the Game of Tones episode of Futurama.

Ah, yes. That's right. I remember now. I also remember when they did it. They should have use the magical explanation for replacing the actor, like Doctor Who.

Dick York (Mk.I Darrin)

Wasn't he Mk II?

Nora Dunn did a song parody about him based on "New York, New York." It's up to you, Dick York, Dick Yorrrrrk.
