No Uncertain Terms - link in nick. Simple 1&1/2-min vid of Maxine Waters, Reid, Holder, TFG, laying out the agenda. I welcome suggestions for other instances of Red (Them Reds) self-revelation that could extend this.

...We've got a President with no heart and a VP with no brain at the least....
At least we haven't a cowardly kitteh as 3rd in line...
We had our first at home. I caught my daughter. Midwife slept through it on our couch. Doctor arrived late. But in their defense, also my nurse sister-in-law's, nobody expected the labor to be so brief. We had toured the hospital birthing area (considered the option) just that night. BIL jokes we had to rush home from the hospital to have the baby. (Did I just hear Miss Marple's teeth grinding?)
(Second pregnancy was full-term full-weight boy twins. No thought of home birth with that one, but another unexpectedly swift labor - they came within minutes of being born in the cab.)
We were products of the time, had all the best support, best of health, were well informed on the risk, and made a choice that turned out well, by the combined grace of preparation, wisdom, and a good shot of luck. Do home birth again? I was about to type, 'never,' but then I remembered Obamacare.

...disillusionment (noun): the feeling typically experienced by a teenage girl when she discovers that a guy's proclamations of love were all just to get in her pants.... Now being experienced... by people under 30 who naively believed a slimy politician's proclamations of love and are suddenly realizing the screwing they're getting.

We live in an age of enforced foolishness;
no water toilets that stink
clean air regs that prevent upgrades to electric plants
food piles in basements
government mandated bike paths on major roadways (for your health, of course)
government mandated mosquito breeding ponds
etc

Scadalpalooza - it's all a distraction from everything. But IIRC, Obama essentially murdered Stevens, et al. Not like there's anyone in a position to make it the means to oust the devils, but it ought to be the issue. Or so I read some morons saying a few squirrels ago.

Wow! I didn't know you took over the blog from ace! Congrats!
I just did a quick search of the past 15 or so posts, not including the astronomy posts, including comments, and found five mentions of Benghazi. Four were m/l passing mention in a list of scandals; only JohnLocke #214 on the "NSA listening to domestic" thread addressed Benghazi directly or spoke of it being a priority.

Tried to tell that kitty to come in last night but she wouldn't; sure wanted to come in by morning, though, after the morning storm! So begins my Monday. Hi, y'all.
Getting from Here to There, my photo collage treatise on future transportation, #17 Gonna Need a Lotta Zots - a glimpse of how my young self's fantasies about a great technical future are tempered by my decades watching the tyranny of the Luddite and the GreenShriek. Nicked in link.
(silly stuff)
Now back up to read what wisdom this thread has to offer.
Ow. I read everything (up to 430).
It's not that they're ALL interesting. It's the nugs worth digging for...
Like the music videos... lessee...
Rossini -thanks!
Garbage -nice!
Jewell in disguise -excellent!
And there were a few comments worth reading. I think. They all begin to blend together into one great Voice of the Horde* now, so it must be time for me to head for bed.
*Except for that odd occasional squeaking sound, often followed by a swift compression blast and the smell of brimstone. Wait for iiiit....

I wonder how far behind the current comments I am. Reading from the top. Yeah, yeah. I know...
"The best way to turn someone is for them not to realize they've been turned. You just encourage their own ideas. You nudge them in the direction you want. Maybe give them some resources to help them make the leap."
-Flatbush Joe
But wouldn't you have to have someone close to him doing that... like a hot girlfriend who'd been in China?

Top 10 socker for the 2nd time. My experiment worked. Mwah hah haaah! URrrk.
No, I am pathetic.
I found some old comments of mine where on re-reading I realize I had completely misunderstood what I thought I was replying to.
I am an idiot.
I found other remarks of mine that were unfathomable even to me. WTF was I trying to say?
I am such a moron.
_ waitaminnit...
I also wonder, with the socks I've worn, how the Top Ten Calculator settled on "mindful webworker hates Illinois Nazis"? Owell, better than some it coulda picked.
Now, lemme see what's been the haps here tonight?
Surely all the actual terrorists, various and sundry super villains, and other miscreants who intend to do the US harm made far more than 300 calls last year.
Phone calls? hah! Only punk newbies who want to get caught like those stupid Boston kids. If we can't use personal couriers, then it's dark web, embeds in graphics, secured emails...
Keep in mind, they're not looking for us. YOUR "GOVERNMENT" IS NOW ON OUR SIDE.

I had just said something similar to the Mrs regarding machine guns.
But, for civility's sake, I revised my thought down to paintballs filled with bank robber purple dye.
Also fun: glue bombs.
Lost Dad suddenly in 1968. Mrs lost her dad the same year. Now I'm 10 years older than he ever got to be. I always wonder, would the man who helped turn the Okla. Republican party into a real force be a RINO or a Tea Partier today? 1968 was a long, long time ago. Miss you, Dad.
Last year, my kids promised to pay for my Usenet sub for a year. All of about $15 to each of them. I haven't mentioned it since. I wonder what they'll promise me this year, if they happen to think of it. (One son has started following Ace, but told me last night he hasn't time for comments. I advised he always check for Vic's morning posts! (Hi, Son, if you see this.)
)
But many years ago, when times were fatter, Mrs got me a pickup for Dad's Day, so that's amortized over a good many Dad's Days.
I just want to live long enough to spoil the grandkids.
As long as we teach the child to pray, "Our Father who is in heaven," a tremendous responsibility rests upon all earthly fathers so to live and order their homes that the word father becomes worthily enshrined in the minds and hearts of all growing children.
Oh, I needed that post, CDR M. Nice. Thanks, and I'm glad I was at the Big Computer on Cable where I could enjoy all the links and vids, v the Cell from Hell with the occasional connection.
Dads video: Archie Bunker & Meathead serious moment reflected the very best of that series. I allergized.
Unsecured Wireless Printer: Hilarious in concept, superb in execution.
Black Forest fire fighting: Excellent. For as low-key as it is, it's riveting. Firefighters have to be almost as insane as fire is.
Moron air base: heh.
M4 180lb Tactical Crossbow: "...magazine with capacity for 180 steel balls, and featherless arrow firing capabilities." Bangsticks don't really thrill me, much as I admire the fine pieces featured each week on the gun thread, but this, this, for some reason appeals to me. Especially in a gunpowder shortage.
Math, whosyerdaddy, love potion -- skipped, even if they look interesting. I'm being discriminating tonight. Except in my profuse verbiage.
And yes, lastly the cat video. By the end of it, the day, the earlier part of the ONT I'd just enjoyed, and most of my consciousness seemed stripped away. As the Mrs said, like a train wreck... watched all the way to the end, stunned.
I'm done annoying you now. Good night, Mrs Calabash, and all the ships at sea.

We only watched up until they were about to interview her. Dressed.
Mrs sez: I bet when she rides horses, she wears a sports bra.
