"Heres Obama's defense: Based on the information we had at the time I didn't believe any rescue attempt would have been successful and there was a good chance of additional loss of life."

Which can be said of any intervention avoided. The possibility of failure and the possibility of loss of life are hardly reasons to do nothing. Of course, reasoning about it is futile because it's not a reason, it's not a "defense," it's an "excuse." Mom I had my hand in the cookie jar because I was looking for snakes!

THE COMMANDER IN CHIEF IS A BLOOD-STAINED TRAITOR. [And you know it, NSA boys. Man up!]

InCongruouss: Give him the Jane Fonda treatment!
Dept of InJustice: And the comfy chair!
Low-IQ-Voters: And a fifth term!

Morning.

I just read about the fellow arrested for drunk driving with 0 blood level. No mention of race in the article until the last line where the driver's lawyer says quote it's a case of driving while black unquote. Well, maybe, but looks to me like the more wide-spread general illness of policing while stupid. (Ironically, one cop apparently acting correctly, Stupido the Presnit called stupid.) Always wondered if my Springtime allergies would get me suspected of stoned driving, but never imagined being busted for booze because of it.

There's prob more to the story. Was the driver 'rude to a cop'? Why was he stopped initially? etc. Still.... "I can tell by your bloodshot eyes you're drunk" sounds really, really bad.

I raised my kids to respect cops. I then had to explain the no Santy Claus truth about cops after an ahole in uniform slapped cuffs on my 10yo as a 'joke.' Still generally respect the folks who take that job, but not the ones who do it to reinforce tyranny, small scale or large. And teh stupid! It's pervasive!

Finally got to the ONT. Read the post, and the first 10 comments. Figured that was enough, 'cause my momma allus said, nothing good happens after the first 10 comments. Or maybe she said after Midnight. I wasn't listening.

Good evening, and I hope They haven't found any of you yet. At least, found you unready....

Okay, I'm going with Traitor on this guy.

Full prosecution.

Late reply, busy morn; but, wth.

"I said 'it doesn't seem like a crime occurred here.' You have a reading comprehension problem? I didn't make a legal argument at all."

I asked Mrs, who can often help me understand thought patterns alien to mine, for her thought on the above. She said, I understand he's saying IANAL, not making a case before a judge. Except, I told her, I think maybe he is a lawyer. In any case, she said prettymuch what I thought: "doesn't look like a crime occurred" in layman's terms is prettymuch = a legal 'argument.' I am a layman, plus, I play one on teh infrawebz.

"...but it doesn't seem like a crime occurred here."

He told The Guardian of one incident where CIA operatives got a Swiss banker drunk in an effort to recruit him as an informant to obtain secret banking information.

He said they encouraged him to drive home intoxicated and when he was arrested for DUI, the undercover agents offered to help, managing to recruit the banker on the back of the favour.

But at least no crimes occurred.

Don't usu follow the gun threads 'cause, well, I'm not even allowed sharp pencils, but I always glace at the weapon of the week... and it's always such a honey, I sometimes recognize sorta, often not, but always think, wanna try! This week's, above, had me smiling, cool, what's that!? just moved me enough to express appreciation for all of these.

"when I write the post in MS Word and then paste "

Reportedly, therein lies your problem. Use Notepad or equivalent plain text editor, I think. Better advice from others may follow.

anyone: Does Firefox let you move off a page and lose all you wrote in an input box? No saving your text or warning you're about to lose it like the most rudimentary WP twenty years ago? Browsers: half-evolved OS on top of an OS.

Seems t'me, and I hate that we've come to this, but, a few canny patriots in the spy agencies could do some serious, possibly permanent damage to their computer systems. I'm talking to you, young agent at a terminal in the Rockies reading AoS illegally. Are there any patriots left in power I wonder, at any agency? Insofar as their power is databased, destroy it. Now. (Of course, I'm just noodling academically, not actually proposing rebellion against a lawless, unConstitutional enemy who have hijacked the American systems of government.)

Patriots must stand ready to offer up all! Who has such courage? Lives, fortunes, sacred honor, okay. But closest and dearest? Insofar as their power is thuggery-based, subterfuge beats open opposition for now. Seen the vid of the woman who says Chelsea Clinton got threatened? Even Bad Billy Jeff and Heartless Hill would balk at that one. (Whereas I can imagine BO easily sacrificing his daughters for political gain; I half expected it when they went partying in Mexico.) Nice wife you cheated on there, Gen. Petraeus. Shame if anything should happen to her. Wouldn't you rather have a cushy job at Goldman's, than spill your guts about President Standown's treachery? It's a dirty, dirty war.

Egad. Where did that come from? Rant off. Sorry, all. Sorry, Dear Leader & minions. I was suffering momentary Breitbart Lives syndrome.

Sobering counterbalance: Homeschooling ~=4%.
