Police in Newport, Wales, order removal of T-shirts with the slogan "Obey our laws."

Okay, I'm going for #1.

Hi, elizabethe!

From now on, it's Mindful Friendly Webworker, saying hello and goodbye to everybody, constantly commenting "^this" and "I agree" and "yup" and "k" (my son's most-frequent text) until I've breached that top ten and gone all the way to Most Posts. Let's see, I've only got to top.... uh.. something like 75 comments a day!?!!?

Um, never mind, back to trying to break into the top 10 socks. Goodnight, everybody at once.

History makes it less funny to me. - Merovign

Yeah, it's pretty dark humor. But watching weasels squirm so fitfully has its attractions nonetheless. At the moment, from here and now.

AND before I have to leave cable for cell:

Despite Herculean efforts - I know I easily exceeded Romeo13's pathetic score - I didn't make the top ten sockpuppeteers again this week, and I think we all know why. Blatant discrimination!

Those of us who are forced to frequently post on variable IPs demand equality with those constant-IP elitists. Burn the barrel! No justice, no socks! uh wait...

I was more the age of Sharon of Sherry, I suppose. But... Annette! We couldn't help it. Actually, I just watched for the cartoons. And the Hardy Boys. I'm still deeply disturbed by the old guys.

He was trying to use dictionary pronunciation symbols ... and his version of unicode entertained us with some card-playing symbols. -Kristophr

Unlike everyone else (ahem), I'm often confused on here, as some of my comments clearly show, so I don't know who "he" you mean, but if this refers to my message #70, "at-tac¶∇&♣" was meant to look like that as a joke ha ha ain't I funny. (Presuming it looks to others like it was meant to look and doesn't blow out the blog somehow.)

when frustrated that others don't OBEY, they turn their thoughts to murder. -Merovign

What's that smell? Eau de irony!

The line of true contention is reached, and they who depend on the government of tyranny to overpower the citizens of liberty for their sake will be surprised, one way or another.

Meanwhile, these noises sound to me like they're cracking up. Which cracks me up.

"military attaché Roberto Ezequiel Rosas"

Pronounced "at-tac¶∇&♣" as I recall. Accent on the final syllable.

You can customize on tiny after the tinyurl.com -olddog in mo

So, as on bit.ly?
http://bit.ly/famvoc
http://bit.ly/ogohome
http://bit.ly/skeetr
(all are my recent vids on my site)

Not significant and too tedious for e.g. Vic's links, but good for ones you want to refer to repeatedly. The tiny.url add on for browser: I want that for bit.ly on Opera. talk about double whammy of non-major programs!

Dangergirl - Many decades ago, Oklahoma instituted toll roads which would only be tolled until paid for. Guess what; they never end.

Actually, private highways would be great, especially with modern electronic no-stop paying. But gummint maintaining vital infrastructure is as deep and unshakable a tenet of modern life as govt schools... post offices... and passenger rail service.

"I used to use Tiny URL but quit using it for some reason which I can not recall. Maybe I need to switch back." -Vic

I've only used bit.ly, so, can't compare, but, it seems reliable. Customizable shortlinks - does tiny have that?

The materialistic sociologist of today surveys a community, makes a report thereon, and leaves the people as he found them. Nineteen hundred years ago, unlearned Galileans surveyed Jesus giving his life as a spiritual contribution to man's inner experience and then went out and turned the whole Roman Empire upside down.

This is a pretty deep discussion for an ONT. -Bomber

It's like when they say in the morning, it's happy hour somewhere? Serious discussion on ONT? It's always mid-day somewhere.

Taking the time warp to the morning thread. Play fair, sports fans.
