Really? (double cheks) -- both work for me. Check your fibric metabulator settings if you're using Internet Explorer.
Ah, Blanco Basura for the evil win... wait... at only 10:30 CDST?? What kind of party have you people been having??
There's something strangely familiar about the voices of the Obama administration. Hmmm.

Pardon the self-promo-and-run. Blush and rush. It's late and I have to go from here to there, be back on the cell to read what looks like another power-packed ONT and maybe some comments before I pass out. Summertime schedule, I realize, means I have less and less to spend live ON on the T.
Speaking of Star Trek, Lauri Davis posted this last night about the new movie. Spoilers galore. And it takes no Klingon prisoners.

Heh. Thanks for that link. I'm sure I enjoyed that more than I would the flick.
I was of TOS era. 1970s, in the tube pit at the frat house, M-F we had Madison and Chicago stations on cable, with re-runs at 5:00, 5:30, & 6:00. True tribal politics on whether to switch channels halfway through.
Kinda ironic that when Next Gen began we were living in Chicago, the antenna barely got - often didn't get - the UHF station it was on, and cable in our area was being held up because Chicago graft. Missed much of the first two seasons.
Liked Next Gen, but I think I never finished the last season. DS9 was interesting, especially to compare with its inspiration, B5. Never really got into Voyager or whatever it was. Watched all the movies up to the last one or two. Never watched Enterprise - greatest opening credit sequence ever, and as a Okie, I liked it that it opened with Klingons in Okla. But I couldn't help seeing it as an extended Quantum Leap episode.... that guy!
So I did see New Trek 1. siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh. Never again. Not one red cent will ever again flow from me to the Downdumber Ripoffskis of Roddenberry. Toby McGuire dancing Peter Parker Trek.
Since New Trek is actually all in an alternate universe, there is hope that the future re-re-boot will revert to the original, and the reboots can be forgotten like the Star Wars Christmas Special or the never-released first Fantastic Four movie or It's About Time.
Rant mode off. Everybody moved on, yet?
Oh yeah, great content on the ONT tonight.
Please never flash back to the 70s again.
Please.
Living through them once was enough.

OMG!
Did I kill the blog?
More important, can I blame the dog?
The moon glows through thinning clouds, the air fresh and foggy after the storms. So beautiful a Spring night here in NE Oklahoma. We had some strong winds, a little hail, but the worst dodged us.
Gazing across peaceful pastures, pondering Nature's uncaring wrath, praying for the devastated, and the responders. Appreciate the links morons have posted about donations.

Haven't read all the comments, don't know if anyone's said this, but I think Sherry is in Tulsa, so, not in the devastation zone. I don't know where Soona is. The worst skirted N & S of our county last night, but 'naders reported about 20M south of us about an hour ago.
Spring in mid-North America.
Yeah, those schools with no basement or shelter? And the water plant that's out? Who would think you'd need to harden facilities against wind in those areas?
Death toll mounting...
Hey, folks, apropos of nothing, couple days ago, I caught a vidclip of Lindsay Graham. Realized I'd never seen or heard him before!!
um... ew.
"Since Obama can't run again..."
Cracks me up every time I see that. Naivete is cute.
Once there were two major schools of thought about Jesus. One held with what Jesus taught, that the gospel is, men are the sons of God and we should love one another. The other taught Paul's theory about Jesus' blood sacrifice, virgin birth, many other ideas.
Given a free market, things would have worked out eventually. It might have ended up with cheaper VHS instead of the superior Betamax but it would have shaken out. But a politician got involved. He demanded compromise. You cannot compromise silk and steel. However, the Bishops knew they could not get out without a single creed.
The Council of Nicea, the reason Christianity became the Czechoslovakia of religions.
The birds, what a racket! But I showed 'm. I let all the cats out. Go, team Darwin!
G'mornin', y'all.
Obama is still a stuttering clusterfluke of a miserable failure of an American President.
Well, the storm seems not to be developing, and the thread is not amusing enough to distract me, ... Also, I'm not in the top tens; the bribes didn't work. So, I want my silver dime membership fee back.
