No because when they figure the "Normal" amount, they add in the total girls cause of course they're normal boys too.

Even so, 20% seems low. I've heard estimates (because of privacy concerns, the number of those receiving drugs for /been diagnosed with ADHD is tricky to get accurate numbers)

That as many as 50% of boys are getting some drug for their "learning problems" or "social skill difficulties" which is code for some teacher not being able to or not wanting to deal with a boys energy level. Also schools get extra bucks for those who have to take meds and for those that they can manage to force in to special classes.

Wrong kind of diversity. Check the approved list to see which kinds should be promoted and which should be suppressed.

"'One in five teenage boys' diagnosed with ADHD..."
(from Drudge)

Doesn't this make it "normal?" Being more common than the love which dare not speak its name (pause for ironic take) wouldn't active, distracted boys be something that should be celebrated and honored? Eau de diversitee!

ADHD - an excuse to keep active and independent minds drugged and ostracized in Big Brother's will-subjugating public youth indoctrination emporiums.

Oh ha ha ha. I'm just kidding about all that silly Faraday cage hat stuff. Ha. Ha.

And that will probably be my ironic, award by association winning contribution to the verbiage heap tonight. No extra charge unless you wanted crutons. Now to see what the post and comments say. ...

Switching socks. On stage. It's embarrassing. Shouldn't that be done, like, on some old thread?

The new software (always 2 weeks away) will have sock autorecorrect. Sure to be a hit bug feature.

"One lucky child found the prize winning egg..."

MARY CLOGGENSTEIN! I am SHOCKED that the Battleboroladiesetc would allow this blatant injustice! What about the feelings of all those precious young persons who didn't get a prize egg? They'll need grief counselors. And reparations. No more Spring Bunny Egg Rolls unless everybody gets the same special prize. Except young persons of pallor oppressor descent, who only get eggs that contain guilt bracelets.

NO JUSTICE, NO OVOID CONTAINER CELEBRATIONS!

There I was, posting award-winning comments on the headlines thread, when I realized there was just me, approximately. So I'm playing "where's the horde?" It would help if the horde wore red-and-white striped shirts and hats.

I love Chicago. It was my adopted Big City even before I met my Chicago-native wife. Her family are deep Chicago. Irish-Catholic West Siders (until the red zoning). We moved there in 1980. All our kids were born there. We moved out nineteen years ago... yesterday. Had to make some hard changes to do so, and our new life was never as comfortable or balanced as our life in the windy city; I regret much in life, but not that move.

I weep for Chicago, as Jesus wept for doomed Jerusalem. Yes, its corrupt kings and dependent class chose to burn, but I would not wish it for all the good people who live there.

Just be mindful of when to take them out, and when not to. I took my oldest out to the farm too young. He was otherwise very obedient, and very interested in guns, and yet...walked right out in front of me while I was aiming at target with finger on the trigger. Scared the ee-mortal shit out of me.

And never should have told the wife. Guns stayed the safe for about 15 years after that.

Worked at carpentry, we know. Knew fishing. We know he took his beating with dignity. That even as he died, he cared for others, his followers, his mother, and the guy on the next cross, then faded out reciting scripture and, finally, turning it all over to Dad.

We also know his tears as he gazed at doomed Jerusalem the last time.

Mostly we know about his man card by how strong Galilean fishermen dropped everything in their lives to follow him even when they didn't understand much about where they were going. These were not dumb rednecks, they were smart rednecks, men of strong faith and, as their later lives attest, inspiring courage. Much of that testifies to their Master, but they were men going in.

And as the world's greatest women's liberator, he also did in a certain light "make women men" (joke/Gosp of Thom ref), as we see in the courage of the Magdalene, who was the first herald of the resurrection, and even to that woman who, upon threat of death for aiding a condemned man, sought to comfort him as he carried the crossbeam. Women who stood at the cross.

And don't forget the documentarian Luke reported the Centurion who, watching that magnificent death, declared the condemned to have been a righteous man. Figure that Centurion had seen a few crucifixions and wasn't easily impressed.

Courageous men and women still follow him.

Wire recorder? High tech, young dude! Mine was recorded in candle smoke on paper.

They beat him. They crucified. him. They stabbed him to make sure he was dead. They closed the tomb. Put a second stone to hold the first one. Added the seal of Pilate - ain't nobody messing with that! Put guards on the entrance. Put guards on the guards.

And thought themselves done with him.

Yet when the women got there, no guards. Stones are moved away. And as John noticed later, the burial linens weren't even disturbed.

Houdini was a punk amateur!
