Happy BD, Mindful.
Today is my niece's BD and grampa would have been 95 today.
I guess it is Clenis's BD today as well. He's probably eating cake out of a prostitute's ass with Epstein on hhis island.

Good morning, gray-box gangsters. Y'know wot? This is my last weekend of
being sixty-three. I'm still alive, so, could be worse. (Hums old

Happy early birthday weekend!
Good morning, gray-box gangsters. Y'know wot? This is my last weekend of being sixty-three. I'm still alive, so, could be worse. (Hums old Beatles song.)
Okay, your window of opportunity to say hello to me is closed. I'm off to the bed. No Vic tomorrow. Nothing to get up for.

Moron: "But, Lord, why would I ever want to uproot a mulberry and plant it in the sea?"
Good night, Gracies.
Hello, you late-night clot of Morons.
Lurked through a bunch of the latest comments.
Something about ice man's dying from power farting while Perkins narrated? I may have skimmed more than read....

This day (Aug 20) in 2004, Ace was trying to seduce Michelle Malkin. And she gives him some... linkage.
In relation to artwork, mentions of finding...

cat: 0 (cat vomit, but not actually cat)
It's like I don't know you anymore, horde!

I lowly recommend "Getting From Here to There," my 30-"Daily Doodle" cartoon from June, 2013, musing on transportation, past, present, and especially future. Take your time; it's thick going, like Chicago highways at 5pm.

Just passing by on the way to bed 'way late, and thought I'd drop that here instead of simply breaking out of lurkdom to say...
Good night, Gracies!
Tipping ... never waited tables in a restaurant that wasn't our own, and that only briefly, but Daughter has done a lot of waitressing. She's seen all the fat wallets, old people, and nominal Christians who tip low, don't tip at all, or leave some Christian tract with a nickel. I've never heard of the tract designed to look like a fiver - that's admitting to cheapness.
We used to dine out frequently, especially when we lived in Santa Fe and Chicago, and we moved to 20% when Dear Abby was still recommending 15.
Once dining out with a close relative in Santa Fe, we left the restaurant, then relative ducked back in to snatch half the tip I'd left. Relative was trust-fund wealthy, too. That was infuriating.
Aaaaannnnd... willowed. Ace is up.
shibumi: Lots of creative people are on the MAC platform.
However, ALL corporate people are on Windows.
/there's big $$$ in corporate gigs. Just saying...
I chose a Radio Shack Model I (with TRS-DOS, an early pre-MS-DOS Gates work IIRC) over some wacky little model named after a fruit, thinking Shack would be around long after the fruit company rotted. The road not taken...
I've never regretted my choice, all the hassles with Gatesware notwithstanding.
free range 'sorta' conservative #500: ...Louisiana pastor, who believes natural disasters are God's way of punishing gays, sees own home flooded...
Must've overlooked that passage about the Lord makes the floodwaters to inundate the righteous and the unrighteous alike... something like that.
Rats! Trying to produce music video. Audio quality is okay on the editor, but on the final production the sound comes out flat, tinny, distorted. Wish I knew what I was doing.
Probably shoulda gone the Jobs path instead of the Gates fork, back in '78.

CharlieBrown'sDildo re my dropping ear bud in coffee: Dip it in that for a few minutes. It will pull the water out and clean it a bit.
Thanks. Should have thought of that myself.

Y'know, this thread is really zipping along. I turn away to do a couple things, dozens of comments posted.
Cat woke me up in the early early morn wanting out. Almost logged in but went back to bed instead. Checking later, I see Vic and creeper were the only ones around at that time. I shoulda popped in just to say hi.
Yellow, fellows. In before Ace, however barely.
I just dropped one of the earbuds into my coffee. Doesn't seem to be working now. Hope it works better when it dries out. Had to be hot, just-poured coffee, of course.
On the other hand, the flavor of the coffee improved.
