My thinking, too: Big bro was the zealot, and wrong as he was, Idealists can relate to his zeal and dedication; little bro was just a tool, in both senses of the word, and there's nothing resembling worthy there. That jr is the one gets to live a little longer and face the consequences is ... interesting.
