Yes, it's true, cats are from Venus and dogs are from Mars, regardless of the genitalia.
Except our cat Sparky, who identifies as a dog. I was doing some emergency vacuuming today, and Spark just laid on his footstool watching me, unaffected, while every other critter (including the dog) ran outside. So, I took the hose and ran it over his fur. He liked it!
