Concerned About Your Level of Indignation

Fen, it might take too many words and too much time and energy to really engage with you here, especially on two fronts, but I'll make one try, and try to be concise. Which is dangerous.

I am concerned about your level of indignation. What someone else does with their own is their business, really, and what someone else might mean by f charity might not be what you might think. Far be it for me to take j's side in this, but it's not that out there to think of charities as generally a bad deal and to hold to "charity begins at home." Like Cato said about starting one's own endowment.

That said, it was hilarious that j singled out the Salvation Army - which, as mustbequantum said, "have topped the charity efficiency rankings for many years now" - as if the Army were the Clinton Foundation. I think this shows why it's silly to get so riled up about him! You're being troll-rolled.

As for devil caused Okie quakes, hey, don't turn your indignant cannon on me; I didn't ask about it at the time because I didn't see your comment until later. (Maybe I shouldn't be trying to engage you while you're heated. Daddy always told me not to get in the middle of a dog fight - still learning.) If they're "two unrelated comments" then why relate them? It's just - trying to say "I'm not saying," while juxtaposing statements is a typical Leftie "am too saying" tactic. And you did it again.
