I just happened to be thinking (always a dangerous venture for me)...

Superman[ is the archetypal hero, the Herculean man-god of the Space Age. No matter how the mythos may be tortured by the trademark's owners, the true, simple, humble, heroic spirit of the big blue boy scout, the noble American from Kansas who also happened to be a powerful demigod, is universally inspiring.

In the absence of true theological understanding, estranged from the mainstream of apostolic messaging, bereft of a supportive congregation, the Spirit still cries to the soul; there can still be idealism, belief in that which can be known but not shown, an unrecognized but perhaps still saving child-like faith.

Good night, Gracies.
