She only used her fingernails

"...niece brandished a knife and threatened to kill Mrs. Crank last night..."

Lord! Crank! We did have that worrisome time we couldn't find the big kitchen knife, until we looked under the niece's bed, but when it came down to it in the end, she only used her fingernails claws. When my arms tan the scars still show. :/
