As I recall from the Authoritative comments of morons on AoS, a war is over when one side surrenders (presuming it is not first wiped out utterly). The US did not declare the Pacific War over on the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay. You surrending? Okay then. Soldier on, for the Constitution and for the Nation for which that flag stands, to which I presume you have pledged your allegiance.

BTW, what's the plan again for when they take down all our sites and stop all our emails, after the next Unwasted Crisis? Short-wave networking? Satellite hijacking? Can they really catch or halt all the encrypted usenet and irc? Also that other thing, you know, "drink more Ovaltine.™" ;/
