To any still around who wished my Mom a happy 93rd earlier, I did indeed pass your wishes along, and she got a good chuckle out of "moron horde" even before I attempted explanation.
Ninety-three, and taking care of herself mentally and physically! Finally quit driving this year, after running a Stop sign at night and getting T-boned. God bless that old Cadillac, she was hurt 'way less than when she just fell down in the front hall a few years back.

She gave up the cigs after fifty years... twenty-five years ago. Iron willed: when she decides, it is done. Spent most of her life getting up at 6, but now she says she sometimes slides to after 7 (gettin' lazy). Bed by 9, no later than 10.
Coffee in the morning. One glass of wine (white) in the evening.
Regular visits with her hard-driving exercise therapist, especially since the fall broke her shoulder and ended her golfing, which she had always enjoyed.
But probably it's all chromosomes. Which, likely, my Obama-lovin' sisters got but not me.
Hard to get her to spool out the history sometimes, but there's a lot of it there. I discovered today, I had the circumstances of my paternal grandfather's death in 1964 mostly wrong. Mostly, though, just nice to be able to hang out.
