85 "This Land is Your Land" is a Commie manifesto written by Woody Guthrie as a rebuttal to Irving Berlin's God Bless America. In it, Guthrie attacks private property and religion.

Hold on that! Ya reallly gonna take issue with...

"and on th' oth'r siiide,
it di'n't say nuh-thin'...
that side wuz made fer you 'n' meee!"

That's pure poetry, maan! Greatest lyric ever lyred.

Plus, I'm pretty sure it inspired that song about the kid hiding his hair under his hat to get a job, another classic.

Seriously (you guys) without Woody, Arlo would never have popularized Steve Goodman's City of New Orleans.

This post snuck up on me.

Since internal links don't work on this deteriorating platform, and to eschew re-posting myself, to the unlikely-to-exist moron who might be interested, I refer you by message number to the last post comment #48 for my 4th of July report.

And #129 saying I am not here now.

Nice post, Weird Dave.

Hey, wait, there's two morning threads? Where are we s'posed t'be?

I think I'll head for town and the Bigboy Computer with the Fat Pipeline. I have a new video smacking both NBC and the SCOAMF around a little bit, but I didn't want to post snark on the 4th. I may do no good with my little, unseen* propaganda pieces, but... it keeps me outta the bars.

* Sometimes things click. Moonbattery (mostly), and a few other sites, embedded the Hillary's Turn vid and last I checked, it had almost 700 views - virtually hyperviral for one of my webworks. That was just a simple collage of slideshow, text, and music, none of it original. The presentation is mine, but what drives it is Hillary's words, "My turn. I deserve it," which not only reveal her easy flappability in the simplest unrehearsed interview, and so blatantly parades her entitled mentality, but shows painfully that she's slipping mentally enough to have actually said that. Yeah, let's have her shaky hand on the rudder!

Anna, do you go searching for all your wonderful finds or do have some sort of feed you receive? You seem to have a bountiful supply of often topic-appropriate pix. If I haven't said so before, I almost always click, even when the flaky cell can barely refresh an AoS page; appreciate your work, keep it up.

I want that doormat.

Yes. Well put.

That's why Simon didn't get the Fruit Basket of Welcome with a copy of the AoSHQ style guide.

"Caliphate Universal or Communist Universal? I see ValJar more on the latter end of that."
Posted by: steveegg

Well, folks here should feel free to correct any mis-perceptions on my part, but Val works for the Saudis, as does Huma, and the head of the CIA (was it NSA?) is Muslim... right? Hard to keep track.

Like the choomster in chief himself, the mix of Islam and Commie and Homo and Black Liberationist seems irrational, but rationality is our value, not theirs.

Strange bedfellows, like gays and feminists who attack Christianity but mollycoddle Islam, or seeming partnerships of Fundamentalist Islam and atheist Communism, seem incomprehensible until we remember they're all the nefarious work of one enemy, arrayed against God, civilization, and the truly faithful of Christ. This planet needs an exorcism. Quick! Hello, Mr Jesus?

My rep, Bridenstein (R-Okla), was denied access to see the squalor imposed at Ft Sill by the Fed.

Shielda Jackson Lee (D-Houston) gets to hand out lollipops to the little imported gangsters.

Bridenstein wrote a strongly-worded letter of protest.

I would rather he bullied his way in - punching if necessary - until he got respected or arrested. If ever there was a time to pull the Do You Know Who I Am card...! Was some soldier boy really going to manhandle or shoot a US Representative and make this cold war hot? Jim, you were military! Don't become a softie!

Is my thinking out of line? Are Congressmen already expendable?

"A country cannot survive with open borders. Maybe that was the intention?"
Posted by: FenelonSpoke

The intentions of those who favor this illegal influx range from Do-Gooders with the Best of Intentions to those who recognize the destructive evil of this, and like it. The former are dupes , the latter run things.

ValJar's puppet's intentions are meaningless, but her masters' intentions drive everything that's happening Federally. The US Government, now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Caliphate Universal.

*sigh!* Too soon after Independence Day....

I sympathized quietly with the broken toe. Does that count?

Maybe, Simon White-Thatch Potentloins, if your name wasn't a mile long, you'd get more replies?

The assumption that folks aren't reading or caring about you just because you can't see their nod of understanding on this medium is known as the BrokenToe Fallacy. Now.

Four of my family of five spent the afternoon at my mom's, celebrating her 92nd Independence Day. The world she has seen! We had food, beer or wine, swiimming, and some sad noting of the deterioration of the nation.

We didn't turn any of our own cash into noise this year, but the best scene from last night was driving North from Tulsa about 9:30, across the broad prairie, for miles in all directions, fireworks blooming. Private little ones, spectacular big ones, but just all over, the whole drive home, continuously. Great show!

Noticed the casino on the highway wasn't doing fireworks this year, though. Figured out it took folks away from the gambling, probably.

Worst scene from last night was the beautiful tan German Shepherd racing down a main city street into oncoming traffic. Spooked by fireworks, certainly. We turned around, but he was gone. Sad relief. Don't know what we'd've done with a strange, scared full-grown German Shepherd in the middle of the city at night, with our own dog on board.

Morning, Glories!

Hurricanes wreck havoc with the normal order of posts. Chaos! Disorder! I'll be so glad when it's over.

That is how one spells "reek" - the wrecking that only happens to havoc - right? Not quite awake yet and English is not for the weak-minded.

I wish my congressman had pushed his way in, punching people if necessary. Would they arrest him? I’d like to see it.

But Sheila Jackson Lee can get to hand out lollipops to the little gangsters.

Mom's pool is open. Heading there today. Have a safe one folks.

Nuther pro tip for a safer 4th: Stay away from people who can't handle their fireworks. (Rubs spot on back from childhood.)

"The people who arrange for a Black Mass bring judgement upon themselves and possibly their state..."

Excuse me? O.o Watch it, FenelonSpoke!

This gaggle of creeps hardly represents the State. In fact, it is held here because this is a State which constantly demonstrates its citizens' strong faith. Just like they want to put a statue of Satan seducing children next to the Ten Commandments monument.

The rest of what you said, 100% of course.

Note, maybe if you'd said not the State, but Oklahoma City... it is the Capitol, after all... [kidding!]

America began with a declaration of independence, not just of the colonies from the crown, but of humankind from subjugation. The USA is not the only place the resounding Declaration has inspired hearts to achieve independence. This Constitution thingy was a latecomer, a replacement for the first confederation of States. America will survive this Constitutional failure and its repair or replacement, as long as we have that declaration first in our hearts.

That should hold me 'til hot dog time.

Ace called for volunteers? I thought it was a closed clubhouse. If I weren't knee-deep in half-a-dozen other sites, and hardware-limited besides, especially in the a.m., I'd've volunteered to help put up morning threads. I notice they dont really need content, just timeliness.

Hope it's Calif, not Hawaii!
