Re subscribing to the YouTube channel: how cool! You join the Highly Exclusive Company of seven others. (For comparison, Jenna Marbles YouTube Channel has 13,430,799 subscribers. Heh.)

Of course, lately, I've been thinking about how YouTube is Google, and Google's "Don't Be Evil" slogan proved purely ironic, and YouTube is not what it used to were politically or technically, so, I've been thinking of jumping that ship. In the meantime, glad you subscribed. @@

Honored to have my vid in that high-impact compilation of images. The Bush/Obama comparison.. all too real.

"Attorneys for the Rutherford Institute, which represented Faust and Marroquin in court, said that they were pleased with the outcome of the case, but found it concerning that the men were blockaded in the first place."

Ah, more of the same ol’ same ol’.

After all, he’s only the Director. Nobody tells him anything.

And, of course, your earlier post, with the video of Sen. Cruz Questions FBI Director James Comey on IRS Investigation.

I had heard about this “Encounter With Gowdy.” Thanks for posting it.

"I never quite got the name 'RINO'. It implies 'Republican' stands for something noble."
-HoboJerk, Re-branded

Cynicism is easy and fun, and the party has plenty of deep flaws, but they haven't booed God at the conventions yet. And Republican is an ideal.

Here in Oklahoma, with every Rep and Senator and the Gov & most elected officials Republican, many of them relatively strong Constitutional conservatives, the GOP is not as easily dismissed. (TW Shannon for Senator!)

And, names matter.

I pledge allegiance to the Constitutional Republic, not a tyranny of Democracy. RINO should mean genuine betrayers of Republican principles.

Republican. We're retaking the brand.

Doesn't spoil a good measure of "human nature" to note that some can rise above it.

In the 'missing years of Jesus' part of the Urantia Book, Jesus counsels a businessman in Rome about moral disposition of wealth.

http://www.urantia.org/urantia-book-standardized/paper-132-sojourn-rome#...

"I am not concerned with the wealth of any other rich man; I am offering advice only to you and for your personal guidance. If you honestly desire to regard your wealth as a trust, if you really wish to become a wise and efficient steward of your accumulated wealth, then would I counsel you to make the following analysis of the sources of your riches: Ask yourself, and do your best to find the honest answer, whence came this wealth? And as a help in the study of the sources of your great fortune, I would suggest that you bear in mind the following ten different methods of amassing material wealth...."

Whatever the source, some good advice, which I was glad to have read early in life. Could've followed it better....

Was it Milton Freidman? who put it as, a person will value the Volkswagen earned than the Cadillac received as a gift.

I can't believe I read the whole thing!

This article had many good points, to many of which I wish I had time to reply. (That sentence reads as stilted as spam! "Very good points. How do I subscribe to your newsletter?") Some illustrative stories I've got of wealth created and lost, and how families handle and mishandle inheritance... mostly lost and mishandled, because of no understanding of the true trans-generational value.

But, Monty, your article seemed to me to not make the broader points at the end and tie it all together as well as you might've. So, do more writing to get the ol' punch back in shape? Helps us to resist Doom when it's well defined.

And I must point out that a huge pile of gold in a vault was what Unca $crooge wanted! NTTAWWT

Effective Okla. U.S. Senatorial Election Day. I'm hoping the Silent Masses will turn out for TW Shannon, because the polls, the signage, the major media, the feeling I get say that Lankford is ahead. Shannon's backing by Lee, Cruz, Palin, and Levin is great, but I'm not sure his message got out there.

My dear, beloved fellow Oklahomans are so conservatively simple, they trust the GOP.

Which reminds me of this in the ONT:

"I've always known what sort of people they are, and I have always been infuriated by the fact that nobody on our side who reaches high office seems to comprehend what sort of people they are.

"Reagan didn't even get it to the extent that he needed to. George HW Bush was completely fucking oblivious to the fact that these people were his deadly enemies and would fuck him over any and every way they could, which they of course did.

"George W was too chummy with them as well.

"I always knew they would weaponize the government against us, and I have always advocated doing it to them first, but nobody took the threat seriously up till now, but I bet people are starting to wake the fuck up and figure out these Democrats are going to kill us if we don't fucking stop them!

"As I have mentioned, I'm a firm believer in the Curtis LeMay style of War and Politics. Nuke the fuckers, and you won't have to worry about them down the road."

I wasn't going to quote it all, but couldn't figure what to cut. Anyway, add RINOs to Democrats above. My point was the naivete of the electorate, especially regarding these desperate times.

Danged if Monty didn't post while I composed. I may have to get up and work if that's how things are.

The other day, I ran across that pic on here of noses-in-air Lerner & Obama, right after I’d been watching John Koskinen smirking in front of Paul Ryan, so I was inspired to add Koskinen to the Gallery of Smug.

BTW, I just added part 3 of a video webwork-in-progress. As with the first two parts, Losing Iraq (1:15) isn’t listed publicly, nor posted on my website, just the yootoob, so it’s a “sneak peek” link I’ve only mentioned on here and to m’frenz on Ace. Feel free to pass it along as you wish, though.

From the time we got in the car at home, until we got to town, Rush was ripping on Hillary, and Joe, about being “poor.” Rush started talking about what Hillary meant, making actual income still from speeches, books, rather than having wealth already accumulated, smething like that. When I turned off the car, I said, well, I feel like my time was completely wasted. Not Rush’s fault.

Speaking of cackling crazies, if you aren’t familiar with the first all-computer-generated series, ReBoot!, then you might not recognize the evil villainous wicked-witch type “virus,” Hexadecimal. Orrrr.. maybe you will “recognize” her, anyway when you see Hexadecimal Hillary – Queen of Chaos. (40-sec video)

Sigh. Just now caught up to my own first comment. Where is everybody now, I wonders.

Trying to catch up on the blog is like being in a time machine that keeps me a half-hour behind reality. Slow reader + many realish life interruptions.

On the positive side, for two days, my Bluetooth keyboard has been working without a key locking up. Imagine typing a bunch, hitting a letter and it starts typing repeats of it. Then you hit backspace, and it sticks, and wipes out most of what you'd written.

Why in heaven did they do away with Undo on cells? We had ctrl-Z back in WordStar on the Model I!

Back to reading.

Scientists say free will is an illusion.

In the realm of egregiously abused words, "scientist" is in the top ten.

But, eau de irony! Without a modicum of relative free will, no scientist would exist, much less be able to formulate such an observation.

I have a quote about that somewhere... let me look....
