Make sure your contents, esp. cut&paste, have only ASCII characters. Some others won't display (the black diamonds), some will prevent posting. Only what's on the ol' standard keyboard.
First thing this morning, I had a fascinating lesson in random chaotic particle distribution.
Funny thing about random chaotic particle distribution, it's not random. Shatter a window, every shard's shape and path is dictated by the physics of cohesive strength, force and point of impact, etc.Every flying piece of debris in an explosion is Determined.
At least it was only the kibble and not the kitty litter.

Hiding under the desks, exhibit A: Russian meteor.
People running to the windows to see what was the pretty bright light got cut by flying shattered glass.
Kids in classroom where teacher said no no get away from the windows were not ripped up.
Sure, it won't help to hide under your desk if you're in the immediate blast area, and it won't matter if you're outside an affected zone, but in a certain range, just in case, get under the f'ing desk! There are all kinds of conditions that might cause a loud bang that sends glass flying, and if you see a 2nd sun, it might be a good idea to duck & cover, you see.
Like when the meteors start hitting DC and Mecca and SanFran and Sodom and a few other places almost as if someone was aiming. Shame about Moscow. I hear it was pretty.
Of course, school desks were bigger and sturdier back in those days.

Apostrophes, dashes, quotes, lots of stuff. Are they all the new ampersands?
NEAR AS I CAN DISCERN, stick to ASCII. some of those quotes and apostrophes are not strict ASCII. Replace them or they may become [dramatic tone] black diamonds of unrecognizability! Other characters prevent posting.

Heh, on an old fash typewriter I could....
As a kid, I so abused my mom's typewriter doing 'art' - what in computer days would be called ASCII pix - that mom bought a typewriter with no key labels.
So, I had the QWERTY keyboard layout memorized from a very young age!

Heh. I typed a double-greater-than, whatever that character is called, which earlier testing proved would show up as a black diamond with a question mark for me (a character not found character).
If you couldn't cut and paste it, that means Pixy is replacing characters it can't display with characters it won't accept!

A barrel of mercury? I had a couple ounces a chemisty-minded friend gave me in high school. After decades of worrying that the jar would break with kids around, sometime after the cats broke my first and last CFC bulb, I turned the jar over to the fire dept. (They probably just threw it into the trash.)
Reading the blog is like living in one of those SF timey-wimey stories, you're slightly "out of phase," always more or less behind the present, rather than in real time. (Especially the way I read.)
Of course, real life is like that, too, but the phase differential isn't as noticeable... most of the time....
Poppins et al: Re 500 internal server error.
Yesterday I tried posting a comment with a non-ASCII character,van emdash (long dash). When I replaced that with a regular hyphen, the comment posted. I think this is the Latin-1 character set Pixy cursed that he thought he had already fixed.
Clean up your text and it will ... probably ... post.
Anybody else have trouble with Daily Caller on a cell? I get a big red-and-white home icon on top of everything that I can't move or live around.
