There was some other case recently, and I can't remember what inanimate object was involved. Whatever it was, imagine I socked it and asked to join the group.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't oppose them or suggesting passivity. Just not condoning violence. — FenelonSpoke
Exactly.
Although force may sometimes be necessary, one always hopes the violence aspect will be minimal.

The main driver for the 15% pregnancy is "forgot" to put one on. —Vic
Yes, that would seriously affect the effectiveness!
Isn't that a little like, I dunno, statistics on driving safely that include people who blindfold themselves before getting behind the wheel? Or something?
Plus it's public land. Hell half the time they put one out for a dog. Enough already

I believe balance can be struck between clutter (I pity the mowers) and expressions of grief.
Neighbors for a long time kept a wreath on the bridge where their daughter died. I still think of her every day, well, often, as that is my main route. Such markers are both memorial and warning. There but for the grace of God go you or me. So, public service. :l
There's a large memorial on the highway to Tulsa. Fenced off, apparently privately cared for. Appears to be for children. Been there a long time. Others similarly seem to be set up so the public maintenance cost is zero.
As for visual offence at crosses, stars, or any other marker, remove all the billboards and fast food trash first, then we'll talk about the "clutter" of memorials to loved ones' lives, suddenly, horribly lost, and the grief oof the living. M'kay?
I think it better to pray for them than to beat them up.
—FenelonSpoke
Of course. We often vent about doing injury; it's an expression of frustration, not a real threat. Usually. :l
Thing is, though, we must, somehow, actively oppose these anti-religion efforts, because they are active in opposition. "...All that's needed is for good people tho do nothing" and all that. (I'm also reminded of a certain temple cleansing. c nik fs)

1. Having sex? Pregnancy happens despite our best efforts to prevent it, so, known risk, TS, lady.
2. The difference between "it ripped" and "I poked holes in it" is him saying something. Fool.

I'm still glad those kids cried out for and got help. Whew. Hope mom gets help. And that the kids get good homes, you know, where nobody tries to kill them.
On a lighter note, I just had first breakfast with something dim four of the five major food groups: Pancakes, butter, maple syrup, & coffee. mmmm

...Hispanics throughout modern US History have voted 70% or more for Democrats. They are NOT a Republican leaning group. 2nd and 3rd generation Hispanics are largely FSA Democrats, particularly those in large urban areas. — Vic
Just for the record, and inspiration. an anecdotal exception:
I've mentioned before the citizen born Mexican who rents the neighbor's pasture. With his thick accent and garish cowboy boots, he's quite a character. Successful enough he sometimes checks on the cattle from his plane.
I've not had a lot of contract with him, but I did get a taste of his thinking back during the election, touching on a local D.A. race. I'm... reasonably sure he doesn't vote Dem.
Maybe the exception rather than the rule, but I would welcome a (legal) influx of that kind of Hispanic with joy. Alas such folks are too rare in all cultures.
He reminds me of the old blacks, good Christian citizens whom I've known, who can't stand what the black youth have become... sometimes their own kids.
You know what? I've been privileged in my life to have known some mighty fine people. And they weren't all in Oklahoma. Just most of 'em....
