Where is the Benghazi media feeding frenzy? I don’t think there’s a conspiracy at work. Rather, I think journalists tend to act on their instincts. US Election 2012

Per the massive voter fraud scenario, I think there will be violence - some half-hearted rioting - sponsored by the likes of the "New" Black Panthers, The Department of Justice, and other radical, left-wing militant groups - but I honestly think an Øbama win in November will plunge this country into something akin to a civil war. Mostly because the voter fraud aspect will be extremely difficult to hide, and those who won't countenance it are also those who are most able to participate in such an "insurrection" without having to be armed by the government. So, the course of our country will then be decided by not the electorate, but by the military. If the military is complicit, and turns the might of the country against those who would fight this tyranny, the constitutional conservative (or conservative constitutionalist, if you prefer) will become literally extinct, and the USA will become the new Greece. I hope for the sake of all around me; for the sake of my children and my grandchildren, that it does not come to this, but it is a fear that has nagged me every morning for the past year.

WW2 - still with us

I was positioned in a small foxhole on the downside of Capmon Hill where we were set up in a defensive arrangement for a couple of weeks after the invasion of Leyte, and I will never forget my shock one morning, when I heard that Lt Williams, and SGT Corn had apparently gotten out of their holes, for whatever reason, and were shot by one of our men because he did not know who they were, or they did not ID themselves.

I had never discussed this with anyone much at the time, so I do not know the particulars, except this is a thing that happens in war, on occasion, and we were warned to stay put in our foxholes at night, for this very reason.

This is about all I can tell you about this tragic incidence. I am 89 years of age, nearly 90, in December, and my wife passed away one year ago, I am alone now. Dick was one of my favorite friends in our Company B, and as I stated earlier herein, I held as a friend, and a friend lost, when he died. He is in my memory always.

He is committed to ensuring that we take the appropriate actions after the Accountability Review Board to ensure that what happened in Benghazi does not happen again. The vice president’s office contends that the loan not being approved until after the 2010 elections is proof that politics wasn’t involved.

The administration made similar arguments about the more than $500 million it awarded to the now-bankrupt solar company Solyndra LLC.

BrightSource — whose investors include Google Inc., BP Global, Chevron Corp. and Morgan Stanley — doesn’t dispute the fact that it touted the project to influence-peddlers and the most powerful in Washington. Socialized Medicine can be deadly

• as well as 43 people who starved to death, 287 people were recorded by doctors as being malnourished when they died in hospitals;
• there were 558 cases where doctors recorded that a patient had died in a state of severe dehydration in hospitals;
• 78 hospital and 39 care home patients were killed by bedsores, while a further 650 people who died had their presence noted on their death certificates;
• 21,696 were recorded as suffering from septicemia when they died, a condition which experts say is most often associated with infected wounds.
The records, from the Office for National Statistics, follow a series of scandals of care of the elderly, with doctors forced to prescribe patients with drinking water or put them on drips to make sure they do not become severely dehydrated .

His mom was standing at the finish line, wondering what happened. 'It was only a mile, I knew he was tired, I was like, 'Where is he, where is he, where is he,' his mother, Kim Baltz, told CNN iReport. 'All of a sudden the announcer just said, 'Ladies and gentlemen, I want you to turn around and look at what's happening on the course' ... Everybody was crying. It was just very touching that the Marines were there. They picked him up and everybody was cheering and just giving them support and Ben support.'

Ben's mom said he was a little discouraged he wasn't able to finish on his own, and a bit embarrassed that he had to be carried, but his parents told him that he was an inspiration to a lot of people that day. 'We want to give him the message that he can do anything, and he has an inspirational story, and he just needs to be thankful that he is able to do it because there are a lot of kids out there that are still fighting cancer. We just want him to get out there and participate in life.'

"You can imagine how I felt when I found out that he was one of the two former Navy SEALs killed in Benghazi on Sept. 11," Romney said while visibly getting choked up. Although he didn't use a name, Romney was talking about Glen Doherty, a 42-year-old former Navy SEAL killed along with Ambassador Christopher Stevens and two others during an attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. Romney recalled Doherty's and fellow former SEAL Tyrone Woods' heroism as they left their compound's safety for the consulate in order to help those under attack. "They went there," he said. "They didn't hunker down where they were in safety -- they rushed there to go help...

"This is the American way -- we go where there's trouble," he continued. "We go where we're needed. And right now we're needed."

The clear implication is that they will reap more money without these security procedures than they would with them. Democrats are only wasteful with other people's money. The current Federal steward of radio frequency assignment authority is the low-level Office of Spectrum Management buried in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Communications and Information. While ostensibly it has the responsibility for “managing” the Federal spectrum inventory and assignments, it has minimal legal or delegated authority, power, or clout to actually efficiently or effectively manage the nation’s spectrum for the benefit of the Nation or the U.S. taxpaying public. In reality, they are a caretaker and bookkeeper of the nation’s spectrum, not a manager of it — no one is. … There is no coherent Federal policy that spectrum is a valuable scarce resource that needs to be conserved, well-managed and put to its highest and best use for the Nation and the American taxpayer. There is no formal annual spectrum budget process in the executive or legislative branch, where government spectrum holders have to justify their continued use of the spectrum, defend why they can’t share their spectrum with other bureaucracies, or why they can’t clear it for public auction.

There is no regular audit or accountability process to ensure that this valuable spectrum is being efficiently-used, fully-utilized and not wasted. There is no OMB-level review — independent of the departments and agencies that control the spectrum — to verify that it is being responsibly managed. There is also no required economic opportunity-cost analysis or cost-benefit analysis of Federal spectrum use.

So, he used several times, particularly in his closing statement his opportunity to say, ‘Do you believe in the government is the allocator of resources as an opportunity, or do you believe in the market? And I think most Republicans are content to go to the country and say, ‘Let’s vote on that.’” -George Will

In a video obtained exclusively by The Daily Caller, then-presidential candidate Barack Obama tells an audience of black ministers, including the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, that the U.S. government shortchanged Hurricane Katrina victims because of racism. … The racially charged and at times angry speech undermines Obama’s carefully-crafted image as a leader eager to build bridges between ethnic groups. For nearly 40 minutes, using an accent he almost never adopts in public, Obama describes a racist, zero-sum society, in which the white majority profits by exploiting black America. The mostly black audience shouts in agreement. The effect is closer to an Al Sharpton rally than a conventional campaign event.

The once unstoppable Obama movement has constipated to a halt. He was once a god, and now he is man -- a nasty, unsuccessful man, who blames everyone and everything for his serial failures.

After all is said and done, what is he left with? The same hardcore group of delusional ideologues who would vote for him even if they came home from work and caught him beating their grandmothers to death with his Nobel Prize -- but these voters were never in play anyway.

Obama is going to lose in a landslide. And Barack Obama, the media, and the polling organizations will be appropriately shocked.

One day I gathered trash as a garbage collector. I stood on that little platform at the back of the truck, holding on as the driver navigated his way through the narrow streets of Boston. As we pulled up to traffic lights, I noticed that the shoppers and businesspeople who were standing only a few feet from me didn’t even see me. It was as if I was invisible. Perhaps it was because a lot of us don’t think garbage men are worthy of notice; I disagree – anyone who works that hard deserves our respect.

OWS was a Frankenstein monster birthed in the basement of the White-house that turned on its masters. Obama cranked it up to bludgeon the business community, then it started going rogue and becoming and embarrassment.

Notice how fawning media coverage of OWS dropped dramatically as soon as they started getting involved in bomb plots and such?

Obama cranked it up to bludgeon the business community, then it started going rogue and becoming an embarrassment.

Yeah it was meant to be an ongoing and popular youth movement to excite young people and keep the heat on the wealthy. They thought: Romney will probably win the nomination, he's really rich, we can make people hate the rich, winning!

Except it turned out to be a filthy, disgusting, unlikable hippie fest of mud, disease, feces, and rape that even the media spin couldn't paint as anything but awful. When your iconic image is some dude crapping on a cop car, you aren't a popular movement.

467 @PurpAv at October 01, 2012 01:23 AM
Around the time of the bomb plots, it became pretty clear that some OWS "organizers" had embezzled millions of dollars that were never seen again too. That stolen money was high level Democrat money, not pocket change from the brain dead zombies who were the foot soldiers. Nobody was interested in finding it either...because a prosecution would have had to reveal where it came from.

Once they robbed that cash and were into the bomb plots, it was all over. The administration distanced itself real quick.

In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.

We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together. …

The prospect of domination of the nation's scholars by Federal employment, project allocations, and the power of money is ever present – and is gravely to be regarded.

Yet, in holding scientific research and discovery in respect, as we should, we must also be alert to the equal and opposite danger that public policy could itself become the captive of a scientific-technological elite. …
