An Oklahoma high school student in Norman is speaking out after recording her teacher saying that "to be white is to be racist."

The student, who did not want to be identified, told KTLA sister station KFOR in Oklahoma City that the Norman North teacher was lecturing on how to “heal the racial divide.”

She said she was stunned by what was being taught, so she pulled out her phone and started recording.

The teacher is heard in the recorded audio saying at one point, “to be white is to be racist, period.”…

…The Tulsa Indian Coalition Against Racism said the [Bartlesville] Indian Summer Festival and Powwow is funded with dirty money.

"This powwow group ... solicited the Redskins and asked for money," Whitecloud said.…

…Underprivileged blacks have become playthings for intellectuals and politicians who care more about revelling in their good intentions or winning votes than advocating behaviors and attitudes that have allowed other groups to get ahead. Meanwhile, the civil rights movement has become an industry that does little more than monetize white guilt. Martin Luther King and his contemporaries demanded black self-improvement despite the abundant and overt racism of their day. King’s self-styled successors, living in an era when public policy bends over backwards to accommodate blacks, insist that blacks cannot be held responsible for their plight so long as someone, somewhere in white America, is still prejudiced.…

With the presidential race deadlocked and the future of the country at stake, it is time for the Right to answer race baiting and poverty pimping with the condemnation it deserves. It is time to offer an inspiring vision of possibility fostered through liberty. Judging individuals by the content of their character precludes herding them into racial voting blocs. Dr. King dreamt of harmony, not animosity, brotherly love, not class division. For him as for us, civil rights are a means to that end, not the Marxist end of redistributive change advocated by the NAACP and President Barack Obama.

Attorney General Eric Holder described the United States Wednesday as a nation of cowards on matters of race, saying most Americans avoid discussing unresolved racial issues. In a speech to Justice Department employees marking Black History Month, Holder said the workplace is largely integrated but Americans still self-segregate on the weekends and in their private lives. "Though this nation has proudly thought of itself as an ethnic melting pot, in things racial we have always been and continue to be, in too many ways, essentially a nation of cowards," said Holder, nation's first black attorney general. [Oh, shut up.]
