weather
Says here it's 49°F in NE Okla. Forecast does not show any more temps in the 40s. Sure would be nice to leave the furnace off now, finally. O'course, next week I'll complain about the 80° days.

Isn't this, also, the story of our Presentdent?
We have many grand 100-year-old trees here, oaks and pecans.
Yesterday I drove my little red truck around the yard gathering up branches from the storms the other day.
Steady drizzle & intermittent rain here in northeast Oklahoma. much welcome precipitation. good evening. speech to text. Still has a few bugs.
Vic: "Hope all the Morons made it through the tornados in OK yesterday."
Up here in the NE corner of the state, we only saw a little wind & much-needed rain.
Yeah, to paraphrase the old slogan, you don't have to be Muslim to be a suicidal mass-murderer.
Finally got some food and got the coffee going. Still waiting for the sun.
MrScribbler: "Maybe some of the 100-plus inches of snow we've gotten will finally start to fade away...."
Anyone thought the weasel was doing something *other* than attacking the woodpecker? Huh. I just assumed....
Morning, Glories.
Appreciate the news, as ever, Vic.
High temperatures in the coming days:
39, 49, 57, 61, 63, 68, 69 all clear and sunny.
High for today:
Too late.
I'm all commented out.
Going up to 50 today. Snow in the forecast for tomorrow.
Morning, Glories!
Thanks for the headlines, Vic.
I notice evil dies not take the weekend off.
Guess that's why it's called evil.
. . .
Back from arising & all the chores that entails. Hi back, finally, Fluffy. Oklahoma is above freezing this morning.
Whoo hoo! Up to 30°F (feels like 22) and climbing. And there's no sun yet. Why, we might get up to 50 today! Life is good in the Sooner State.
Ah, now the snow is falling again, in a brisk shower. Little gray gal and little black gal went outside - female cats: hardy, crazy, or both? Dog went out, sniffed, came back in immediately.
There is a layer of white stuff over everything outside. Barely, but there it is. And it's 19° feels like 10, says here. So, when we get up to freezing later today, it'll seem balmy.
Just passing through before closing my eyes for the night.
Here in NE Oklahoma, we've got moderate bit of snow falling. And thunder. Sure. Why not? It's Spring in Oklahoma.

lessee... no morning thread... I dont see any Vic news... what is this, Saturday?
I guess I shouldn't complain about our 38° overcast calling for rain. I'd rather it be colder and snow, or failing that, cold but sunshiney. Winter rains are sad.
Thanks for the morning review of the news, Vic.
Morning, Glories! "Only" 722 more days of BO! Only!
Vic: "If the fan quits working the compressor also quits. Then you are SOL."
Vic: "…I am already tired of this Winter and ready for some Spring."
Morning, Glories! Thanks for the news, Vic! (That's as far as I've read in the comments so far.)
Cato: "Y'all's weather is why I stick to the subtropical zones. 38 in Bryan right now. Bit chilly, but not near as bad as those. God Bless Texas."
14°F, feels like 4.
4!
And that's inside the house. hahaha.
Morning, Glories. Just finished the news on the ONT and before I start on this thread, lemme say...
Obnoxious A-Hole: "I have been told that the Texas motto is, 'Don't like the weather? Wait five minutes.'"
That was Will Rogers, and he was talking about Oklahoma.
Twenty! It's twenty degrees F it says here! No wonder the furnace keeps cooking.
I see a new fundamental WeirdDave post yet this one still sends alive. So confusing!
I'll just say this here, anyway...
Morning, Glories!
freaked: "...stopped running that stupid Red Cross PSA on the radio..."
Morning, Glories.
Hope you all find enough to be thankful for this week.
