More than a hundred police officers staged a demonstration in Calais about the deteriorating situation concerning illegal immigrants. They were protesting a lack of police resources and the presence of cop-hating leftist activists who interfere with their efforts to control crime in “The Jungle” migrant camp.
In other news, a man who became belligerent and lunged at a police officer was shot dead by other policemen in midtown Manhattan early this morning.…
An unidentified man drove his truck onto the National Mall near the Capitol building in Washington D.C., causing several nearby streets to be shut down by authorities. The man claimed he had been exposed to anthrax on a Virginia farm, and said he came to D.C. to seek help and warn people about the anthrax. Initial tests for the disease came back negative, and authorities said there was no danger to the public.
In other news, hundreds of Caribbean migrants are said to be abandoning their attempts to enter the United States, and are instead flying to Turkey where they pose as refugees seeking entrance to Europe.…

…On this day in 1987 an Iraqi Dassault Mirage F1 fighter jet fired two missiles into the U.S. Navy warship USS Stark, killing 37 and injuring 21 of her crew. Amazingly the Stark's captain had allowed these jets with 22 miles of the ship under a hostile flight path AND had ignored warnings. The Stark never did do anything to defend itself. This was under Ronald Reagan so I am sure there were no BS rules of engagement like we have now under the choom. A board of inquiry recommended that he be relieved of command and court-martialed. Instead he was relieved of command and retired.…
