Somali Muslim Dead After Taking Hostages at Texas Walmart

…Tuesday afternoon in Amarillo, Texas, a gunman entered a Walmart store, fired shots in the ceiling near the cash registers and took a manager and another employee hostage inside an office. As SWAT team members arrived on site, the suspect was killed and the hostages rescued. No other injuries have been reported.

Police have now identified the suspect as Mohammad Moghaddam, a former employee of the store.
