…On this day in 1959 Rod Serling's anthology series The Twilight Zone premiered on CBS. The first episode was 'Where Is Everybody?. This was probably one of the all time best TV shows and certainly one of the favorite ones of myself and my brothers.

Who knew, nearly sixty years later, we would be living in a political Twilight Zone. Episode title: Derangement Epidemic.
