…On this day in 1973 the Paris Peace Accords were signed officially ending the Vietnam war. However the North never abided by them and continued action. The US cut and run and the Senate under control of the Democrats never ratified the treaty. The congress also refused to allow the US to supply more military equipment to South Vietnam.…

A female employee of an asylum center near Gothenburg in Sweden was stabbed to death by one of the residents of the center. Since the center is for culture-enrichers who are — or claim to be — 14 to 17 years old, the alleged suspected perpetrator is a “youth”, and no further information is available about him. His motivation for the crime is unknown, but the family and friends of the victim are consoling themselves with the knowledge that the incident had nothing to do with Islam.

In other news, in order to make sure that newly-arrived “refugees” in the Netherlands are not discriminatory against gays, the Dutch authorities are planning to hold gay rights seminars in asylum centers. The program will be based on a model used in secondary schools.…

…On this day in 1998 Bill Clinton went on national TV and denied having had "sexual relations" with former White House intern Monica Lewinsky. He later told the same lie in court, committing perjury, which ultimately resulted in his impeachment in the House. But thanks to a few traitorous Republicans (and Scottish Law) he skated in the Senate. Later his law license was suspended for 5 years. If any normal lawyer was caught committing perjury he would have been thrown in jail for 5 years and his license revoked permanently. …

Germany is still receiving a flow of about 2,000 new migrants every day, but about 10% of those are being denied entry because they are not fleeing war or persecution. Meanwhile, a Belgian resort town is considering banning migrants from its public swimming pools after teenage girls were molested by asylum seekers.

Joe Dan Gorman's latest. I really like IFL and was concerned that, with Joe Dan's Trumpism, he'd really gouge Levin and Cruz. He touched on that, but lightly, so I was relieved. I notice he completely skipped Trump's lashing out at Cruz, though. Still, mostly great stuff as usual.

The German government has admitted that 600,000 “refugees” (more than half the total number that arrived in 2015) have gone missing. They may have absconded to other EU countries, or they may still be in Germany — there’s no way to tell.

Austria has decided to impose stringent border controls at the Spielfeld crossing from Slovenia, where would-be migrants will be thoroughly vetted and searched. It will also set a cap on the number of “refugees” that will be allowed into the country. However, Doctors Without Borders is critical of the EU’s tougher policing and attempts to deter migrants, saying that a better approach would be to expand legal immigration into Europe.
